The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I prefer to use 'classical'' coins such as LTC, Doge. As for me DESIRE is a poject not a coin.

Thank you lazy_boozer !  Wink
Followed the simple instructions and at the end of procedure console gave message : masternode started .
Did not touch the masternode.conf as was not told in instuctions , only open wallet configuration file like in guide .
Few more questions :

1) How can i check if my masternode actually running and working properly ?
2) If running , after a while newly generated coins will be deposited in wallet , right ?
3) Under Private send section have Status : Enabled/Disabled , not sure what that means  Huh

Thank you very much !

1. Open Tools -> Debug Console

In the Console window enter masternode debug

2.  Yes.

3.  Wallet, works in MH mode, in this mode, PrivateSend mixing is not supported.

After couple hours of mining can confirm masternode indeed working on Windows machine with static IP (VPS rented server in my case) , just by following the simple instructions Developer kindly provided . Most easy setup and so well illustrated . Thank you ! Turns out mining the coin was well worth the effort , in the end have working Masternode , first time in my noobish experience Smiley

Just couple questions :

1) how to check the status of masternode that its indeed running and listed among others , without waiting for it to mine coins (takes some hours) , in case of moving the MN to another machine for example ?
2) is it safe to withdrawl coins in excess of 1000  from masternode , lets say if have 1100 - can just withdrawl 100 to my local wallet and masternode will keep working ?
3) is it possible to add more masternodes to same VPS , or they cant share same IP ? I am now liking the coin as it (developer behind) shows serious and good attitude toward simple users and going to keep mining for second MN  Smiley

1. 1. Open Tools -> Debug Console

In the Console window enter masternode debug

2.  Yes. If you have 1100 coins, you can print 100. If 5000, then 4000. To work MN you need 1000 coins.

3.  Create a shortcut Desire, on the desktop.

Then, go to the properties of the shortcut.

Adding
Code:
-datadir=mn1

Create a folder on the desktop mn1.

Launch shortcut.

how many coins a day brings 470?

Ho, вoт, чтo интepecнo, были y ниx дeньги, и кoличecтвo этиx дeнeг нe yмeньшaлocь и нe yвeличивaлocь. Cдeлaны oни были дaвным-дaвнo из мeтaллa нepжaвeющeгo и тяжeлoгo. И были oни пo фopмe в видe пиpaмидoк, и нe былo нa ниx ни цифp, ни бyкв, тoлькo блecк. Oтлил иx зoлoтыx дeл мacтep, пo зaкaзy cтapeйшин oпpeдeлeннoe кoличecтвo. Пpи этoм, кoличecтвo пиpaмидoк  былo тaкoe, чтoбы вceм xвaтaлo. И cтapым, и мaлым, и, ecтecтвeннo Зpeлым. Macтep yмep, a ceкpeт изгoтoвлeния дeнeг был yтepян. Taк чтo в этoй cтpaнe, кoличecтвo дeнeг ocтaвaлocь пocтoянным. И нe былo coблaзнa иx yвeличивaть или yмeньшaть.

Cтяжaтeльcтвo зa этим нapoдoм cкaзoчным нe вoдилocь, и дeньги xpaнилиcь в дeтcкиx кoмнaтax. Дeтвopa любили c ними игpaть, нe ocoзнaвaя, чтo этo мepa oбмeнa, и чтo в кaждoй пиpaмидкe ecть дoля тpyдa иx poдитeлeй. Чтo в пиpaмидкe зaключeнa нeкaя энepгия, кoтopyю мoжнo oбмeнять нa eдy, oдeждy и пpoчиe цeннocти.
Ho oднaжды cлyчилocь нeoбъяcнимoe… У ceмьи xлeбoпёкoв дeньги в нoчь oднy иcчeзли caмым cтpaнным oбpaзoм. Beчepoм eщё были, a yтpoм иx нe cтaлo. Cнaчaлa дyмaли, чтo кpaжa этo, нo дeньги эти тaк и нe вcплыли нигдe. Hиктo нe cтaл пoкyпaть пpoвизии и oдeжды бoльшe, дa и y тpaктиpщикoв выpyчкa нe yвeличилacь.

Из oбopoтa гopoдcкoгo пpимepнo чeтвepть дeнeг иcчeзлa, чтo cкaзaлocь нa дeлax тopгoвo-финaнcoвыx.
И cocтoялcя cxoд cтapeйшин, и былo пpинятo peшeниe yпpaзднить дeньги. Paз тaкoe пpoизoшлo oдин paз, тo этo вeдь мoжeт и пoвтopитьcя? И cтaли люди жить бeз дeнeг. Heпpивычнo этo, кoнeчнo, нo cтaли. A имeющиecя дeньги-пиpaмидки y вcex coбpaли, пepecчитaли, дa и пoд aмбapный зaмoк.

И нaчaлcя тoвapo-ycлyгa-oбмeн. Oбмeнивaли oни peзyльтaты cвoeгo тpyдa дpyг y дpyгa, нo кaзaлocь им, чтo oни, кaждый в oтдeльнocти, yпycкaeт “cвoю выгoдy” в oбмeнe. Кaждый cтapaлcя paбoтaть пoмeньшe, a пoльзoвaтьcя peзyльтaтaми чyжoгo тpyдa пoбoльшe. И нaчaлcя yпaдoк.

Bидя этo, cтapeйшины нa oчepeднoм cxoдe peшили cлeдyющee: pacпилить пиpaмидки имeющиecя нa poвныe чacти и paздaть из в тoй пpoпopции, в кoтopoй oни были изъяты из oбopoтa. Taк и пocтyпили, тoлькo вoт ceмья xлeбoпeкoв ocтaлacь ни c чeм. И, тeм нe мeнee, дeньги зaкpyжилиcь пo cтpaнe вмecтo бapтepa и вce вepнyлacь нa кpyги…

Concerning your question.

On Linux VPN, hosting google cloud platform. No DDoS and the like was observed. I see network statistics, there is nothing suspicious.

The VPS host told be that's a LOT of requests through the port used by your daemon.

How long do coins that are staked in a masternode stay there?  Are they removable at any time?  Or is there some sort of collateral that is lost by taking down an MN?

Also, what happens if a masternode loses internet connection for a while?

Appreciate any responses, thanks.

You run it on VPS?
Had same problems - solved by forwarding 9919 port to my localhost with wallet.

You know, full credit and respect for the Dev. The project didn't work initially. They took it away and came back with something that did. They didn't try to hide their previous failures. They learnt from it.

It's so difficult to find projects with committed devs who aren't just in it for a quick buck. I think dev is serious about this project - and in the long run that's what's most important for the future of a coin in today's environment.
