They will only lost their money if they will sell their coins at the lowest price so i believe that holding sometimes is really good in order to avoid your coins being sold and you will lose all your investment.

I think that the market is not going to be always red. It means that the price of the markets coin values is varying , it can actually rise or drop everytime. Its normal for the first two months of every year the markets value will be in red. I dont know why it happens because i just read it randomly in some crypto site.
