The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

Bitcoin greatly influenced other cryptocurrencies. Due to the decrease in Bitcoin prices, the impression is that the altcoins are in crisis. However this is not quite true. I'm sure that the situation will change for the better.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

They are not dying they are just red due to the massive rise in BTC and ETH over the past week or so. Give it until the old stainless steel eating rods have been finished and you'll see the alts rise again. It happened last time the fork happened.

If your investments are all in altcoins I'd advise that you stop looking at exchanges for a couple of weeks and then come back to see some green candles!

Yes, a lot of people are moving away from alt-coins so they can get bitcoin into their wallets for the fork(s).  Many people will get their Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin SegWit2x and sell them immediately, then move into alt coins again.  Remember Warren Buffet's rule of investing:

This phenomenon is repeated forever just with a certain amount of time, thus, the big players simply squeeze out of the market newbies and buy coins for a penny and later have a good profit, this law of this market

indeed for a few months the world of crypto is in red but that does not mean the end of everything, it's only a few moments and for now it's just the patience that all investors need to get back to normal so they do not lose a lot of money if they sell right now.

Coin going downward is normal for every coin.
Whatever goes up come down and this is a feature of every coin or stocks traded.
Don't panic and withdraw if such case happen to your portfolio because it is part of fluctuation of every coin.

when we are in a downtrend, altcoins fall very quickly. you may have to wait for months for prices to rise but the fall is just a few days away.
you can think of current prices as a buying opportunity. you have the potential to earn big bucks a few months after you invest Smiley

Crypto world would improve a lot if 90% of the current assets would simply disappear.

This business needs credibility and the plethora of shit coins and scam ICOs and causing a serious damage to the honest projects.

Unfortunately, it is hard to convince greedy people not to invest in the latest ultimate super wonderful crypto coin...

In my opinion most of the alts will disappear because they are useless.

I think only 90% of them will survive in the long run.

I have lost a lot of money too. But I have a deep faith that the market will be ok in the near future.

The OP wrote the post a few months ago during a lowdown on the crypto markets. At that time there was a lot of red. But the posters now need to see that the OP is quite an old post so need to keep the conversation relevant. If you look at the prices since the OP they actually went up about two weeks later and continued upwards. Then, since last month they have been sideways. Now, since a few days ago they went up again. So you need to see the full price history before commenting on the OP to keep the posts accurate.

Not all of the altcoyins will die. Good and worthwhile projects will remain on the market. And all the shitty projects will eventually turn into 0. This is natural selection. If altcoin is not needed by anyone, then it simply will not be bought, and over time it will depreciate.

Depletion and deficiency in management pro activeness may be part of this Coins depreciation other than the market volatility voice. It is hitherto needing to bear in mind that as some coins continues to die just as you pointed but based on my enumerated view, some others are springing up strongly to rival with the existing ones following the Bitcoin over ruling value. It is your task to find out the ones that suit your desires.

In the near future, nothing will die, it is 100%, a lot of which altcoins are already a lot where they are used, only those who did not have time to implement their ICO will die. The rest will live and very long

I don't think all the coins are dying now. These swings are a natural state of the market, especially when there is no regulator.
Sellers and buyers are moving on emotions, hence such jumps and volatility. In my opinion, the market has risen in spirit since yesterday.
The mood changed to green. There is a long upward trend now.

Too many people are constantly talking about the death of the vast majority of course many altcoins will fail and die but most of them will continue to grow. Many project have a longterm road map and they work sincerely and the best projects on the market will be permanent, this is normal.
Here I agree there are altcoins which are a lot which already use and there are which use will be even more than soon, and the rest just will not go up more that's all.

nope, they wont die, as long as there are investors. investors are the one who will give a life on altcoins, without investors, altcoins wont even have a value, and it wont even developed as first place.

I'm worried about the flood of new coins and tokens. Last time after such a large drop in the market (2013) many altcoins died.... I hope it doesn't happen again now.
