I dont know what do you mean by refering those kind of escrows, but yes, a lot of people are using escrows in this forum for all kind of operations that concerns about bitcoin.
I use escrow, but only bitify's one, i dont trust any other escrow than this one, because bitify is automatic and you can release the escrow whenever you want.
There are a lot of unsense escrows, and much of them have become scam in the last years/months, so i dont trust in any of them at the moment.

An escrow is a trusted third party that safeguards your coins when making deals with eg. another member of this forum. Optimally they simply release the coins to the selling party, once the buyer confirms that everything is in order. Otherwise they have to serve as an arbiter.

What makes a trusted third party is up for debate though. And in theory you'll want to use a 2-of-3 multisig address (which means the escrow can't run with the coins, unless conspiring with either the buyer or the seller, additionally escrow doesn't need to do anything if buyer and seller are both content and provide their respective signature) although I'm not 100% sure how the current practice looks like.

There are members here in forum that actually use the service of an escrow and I know some of them you can try bl4nkcode, SebastianJu, moonbux, Reynaldo, and some campaign managers are better also to be trust as an escrow just like yahoo62278 and many more managers that's trusted by most users here in forum.

Escrow is a service wherein you will trust your funds to someone so that a transaction to some people or meber here that you don't know will be in a safe people or company. You can try a dictionary it is available in there so you can better understand what it means.

Members in this forum usually escrow their funds with other particular legendary members who work like traditional middlemen.
Nobody ever had faced any negative effects while using our local community escrows.
Thinking about judge service feature in btc.legal makes me feel extra secure but this feature  may be suitable for canadian members only

Members in this forum usually escrow their funds with other particular legendary members who work like traditional middlemen.
Nobody ever had faced any negative effects while using our local community escrows.
Thinking about judge service feature in btc.legal makes me feel extra secure but this feature  may be suitable for canadian members only

I wouldn't say forum escrows are 100% safe, but they're still a lot safer than not using an escrow at all...

I think a lot of people will still prefer to use the traditional escrow that we have here. Over here, there are physical people who have proven to be worthwhile over the years and have not defaulted so far in placing their names above some few amount of dollars and they can equally called to answer for their actions in case they defaulted. On the service you are offering or promoting, you will need to prove to us why its better to use your service from the advantages I listed above.

Of course escrow is a must its the transaction involves huge sum of bitcoin. No one want's to be scam, right? There are a lot of trusted escrows here and even some ICO or most of the signature campaigns here have escrow for protection of both parties. Its the first time I heard about that website but I think they need to established themselves here in the forum if they want members here to used their services.

Just think of escrows as middleman to help both parties facilities smooth transaction. Its a safe net not to be scam. Its better safe than sorry.

I haven't heard or seen a law office that is offering escrow service because most of the service that I saw physical escrow service is Ernst and Young and some other companies that are into financial industry. But in case you'll have this type of deal you have to use an escrow that is backed up by any legal matters and does have papers of operation. $50,000,000 isn't a joke when it comes to dealing.

We are actually working with serious ICO promoters as the "escrow" part, required by Canadian compliance authority. I will let you know here and inform you on how is goes and works.

I have used btc.legal s services for a more litigious matter in Canada recently and can affirm that he is a real brick and mortar law firm with years of experience and.. that is important savvy in matters of crypto currencies and investing. If you need Escrow or other legal advice I am sure he will deserve your confidence.

Since we never heard about that site even the site is long time created base on what i check in whois i don't be still trust this kind offer..
What i seen here you are just posting it here to get authority or wanted to backlinking to that sites to increase rankings of your site.

Thanks Kamarit for your constructive post. Yes, I am ready to work with people here. Actually, I'm working with a Canadian group and Canadian regulations authority to build all compliance duties for a "very soon" to be annonced ICO... In ths process, regulators ask that ETH or BTC to be hold in trust by a law office, in a way to make sure that everything is run in a transparent manner. Crypto are keep in "escrow" until the end of sales.

I'll be more than happy to keep you inform with this great project. In my understanding, this will be the second "full compliant ICO" approved by regulators here in Canada.
