Sounds like a great concept but I can't understand the ICO prices. Surely you can't be looking to sell 100,000,000 tokens at 1 eth per 500. That would give you a target of ~$6.5bn raised from the ICO and more than $1.5bn worth of tokens going to the founders. I must be missing something.

We are putting up 100,000,000 fdX tokens for the Crowd Token Contribution at an exchange of 1ETH:500fdX, lets assume ETH is at US$330 today. 100,000,000/500*330=US$66mil. In our whitepaper, we have allocated 70% of the fund raise towards building a model porfolio with the following objectives: -Demonstrate the benefits of having tradable insurance policies in an investment portfolio. Key statistics of the portfolio will be shared on the platform (e.g. portfolio size, average yield at maturity, average investment tenure, etc.) -Facilitate trades on the platform during the initial stage, this will be done through direct acquisition of policies in a number of countries and listing them on the platform. This is necessary while we build market awareness of the first global marketplace for tradable insurance policies. -Utilize the portfolio returns (3%p.a.~4%p.a) to fund future development of the platform as well as funding a non-profit foundation to proliferate the adaptation of blockchain technology in the Insurance Industry. The total amount raised may seems to be a high number, however the insurance industry is a multi-trillion market and surrendered value in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan combined exceeds $700billion in a year. Another point we would like to highlight, founder's token are "vested" over a period of 3 years from end of Crowd Token Contribution, i.e. founders will only be allowed to release 30%/30%/40% of the tokens progressively. There are players in Singapore and Malaysia which predominately work within their host countries and U.K/U.S has a more developed market but there is no recognizable marketplace on a global scale. Furthermore, there are inefficiencies in the market which we strongly believe that Blockchain technology can use applied to address it thus fidentiaX. We are actually looking forward to working with local players to help them extend their reach to the global marketplace by joining the platform as a trusted partner. thanks! |

We see them focusing on the B2B model and would require adaptation and buy-in of various stakeholders in the sale cycle. Its an amazing project and its tackling a big change in how insurance business is being conducted. Umbrella coin focuses on General Insurance product and actually acts as an insurer to provide a different way of purchasing coverage. I think its a great idea and there are similar projects out there that focuses on IoT insurance, etc. fidentiaX approach is not to change the world overnight, we are tackling one segment of the market (tradable policies) and we do not require Insurers to adopt our technology for the business to work however we would be pushing for adoptation of blockchain technology by setting up a open-source foundation to drive this. We are actually very happy to see more insurance blockchain solutions as it will push the industry to a tipping point. The lack of awarenes and regulatory controls would be best addressed by having a local partner. India's insurance market size is huge and adaptation of technology is pretty advance thus definitely in our scope. I invested already in other insure project - ILedgerX (ex InsureX), and they dont have any succes Also in Umbrella coin. Same thing. May be world want not insure on blockchain? Hi Magisterr, thanks for the question. here's my understanding of the 2 projects: InsureX (aka iledgerX) focusing on address the end-to-end process of insurance from Re-issuer, insurer, distribution channel, policyholders. We see them focusing on the B2B model and would require adaptation and buy-in of various stakeholders in the sale cycle. Its an amazing project and its tackling a big change in how insurance business is being conducted. Umbrella coin focuses on General Insurance product and actually acts as an insurer to provide a different way of purchasing coverage. I think its a great idea and there are similar projects out there that focuses on IoT insurance, etc. fidentiaX approach is not to change the world overnight, we are tackling one segment of the market (tradable policies) and we do not require Insurers to adopt our technology for the business to work however we would be pushing for adoptation of blockchain technology by setting up a open-source foundation to drive this. We are actually very happy to see more insurance blockchain solutions as it will push the industry to a tipping point. Our solution is solving the inefficiencies in the current tradable policies market by leveraging on blockchain technology. What are the benefits for early birds ?
I guess the early benefits would be a discount on fdX tokens. But They have 3 types of tokens. Why is that? What purpose these 3 types of tokens server? You are right, early investors during the 1st 5 days will be getting a bonus. We are definitely looking forward to expansion beyond the initial 5 countries selected and are looking for liked-minded partners in those regions. The lack of awarenes and regulatory controls would be best addressed by having a local partner. India's insurance market size is huge and adaptation of technology is pretty advance thus definitely in our scope. U.K has a market for traded policies and we will work with partners to bring fidentiaX to the market. I have invested some money into the InsureX platform which is similar to FidentiaX but that project didn't go far. What makes you think or what separates Fidentiax from its peers? InsureX or iXledger as they are known now is a great idea and project, we wish them all the best. The key difference is the project scope, while iXledger strives to address the bigger task of getting end-to-end adaptation of blockchain for the industry from Re-issuer, insurer, distribution channels to the policyholders. Our project is laser focused on address one segment of the industry, the tradable policies market which in itself is a multi billion market. It does not require insurers to change their existing process nor adopt new technologies though we would certainly hope we see the first life insurance policy by a major insurer issuing directly onto the blockchain. That is also one of the reason why we are setting up fidentiaX Open-source foundation to share open-source protocol. |

Yes, that's a pretty good question. Why is there 3 types of tokens to begin with? My apologies if my previous attempt to explain the various tokens wasn't clear. The rational behind 3 tokens can be found in the whitepaper ( https://www.fidentiaX.com/whitepaper). Here is why we are using 3 tokens: fdX tokens: this ERC20 token is used for the crowd token contribution period as well as the various utilities covered in the whitepaper. Ethereum has the liquidity for raising funds as well as functionaly have a bigger market for trading after the token goes live. There are many exchanges that caters for ERC20 tokens which will provide a market for fdX tokens in the future. ISX tokens, this is the platform unified token which will be used for all transactions within the platform. There are various reasons for using a Platform unified token as it allows some form of control against Money-Laundering. ISX tokens cannot be transferred unless in a sales and purchase transaction and is pegged to US$1. this pegging also adds another utility as we can mitigate the fx risk within the platform. There will be situation where by the seller and buyer's currencies mis-match and thats where ISX comes in to minimize FX movement. Curency Rep tokens, this token effectively is transpaent to most users as it would just be a balance of the user based on their initial deposited currency. We cannot insist that buyer deposits only USD and insist that they convert their fiat/btc/eth/etc into ISX immediately. thus the need for a currency rep token on the platform. There are many small-to-medium size enterprises that is tackling the tradable policies market, however we do not view these companies are competitors but rather potential partners on the platform which they can utilize to expand their reach and access to cross-border customers. Purchase tradable policies cross-border is an expensive process involving escrow agents or lawyers, alternatively you can trust the company doing the sale. Furthermore, our marketplace aims to match willing sellers and willing buyers and let them determine the value to transact at thus eliminating the need for a middle-man or a trusted party. For now I'm just happy that it can be traded, and that it has just been listed on coinmarketcap, where many people will probably hear about the project for the first time. We distributed the balance token to all our token holders in proportion, all 100 mil is distributed. |

I have around 260 of these tokens so am not selling any of them now because these kind of niche tokens can go a long way and it has a small market cap so there is a lot of room for it to grow. I might try and pick up a few more if I can when the ETH blockchain is less congested. Picking up tokens when they are cheap is a good way of long term capitalizing and also supporting blockchain startups. Insurance is big business, so if they pull it off this can go in with the big boys.

sorry, which bot are you talking about? there was one bot with was used to share pricing but we didnt find it useful and removed it. |

Depends on how well the word continues to get out. I'm pretty sure FDX is the only insurance trading currency. Or at least, it was the first. So they have a first-to-market advantage here. |

Depends on how well the word continues to get out. I'm pretty sure FDX is the only insurance trading currency. Or at least, it was the first. So they have a first-to-market advantage here. Thanks for the endorsement and support. I can't comment on the price for fdX, however what i can comment is that the Team is working hard to get the prototype out by this quarter and thereafter the beta after gathering feedback. At the meant time, we are doing as much marketing as possibile to bring awareness to the team. We recently hired Brenda, Partnership and Marketing Manager, to help on us this. Most importantly, we need the community to continue talking about us and get more supporters in! |

Sorry for the late response. We are in the mist of updating our website and roadmap to provide more details. The team is finalizing our wireframe in the next 2 weeks and prototype will be out by end of Q1. Beta is scheduled for end of Q2 and MVP by end of Q3. |

I think it is great that the team is going out to meet industry people and creating awareness, I am just concerned about the price of fdX.
As an investor in this project, i think it is important that we continue spreading the word about fidentiaX and what the project is trying to achieve in order for the price to moon..... the alternative is to cut loss and move on to another project. I guess I am here to stay!!
Let's do our part by talking about it in other community that we are in, maybe dev can consider a shrilling bounty?

The problem in the crypto world is that everything is based off hype and excitement. How will people get excited for trading insurance? I'm not saying this as a determent - I AM invested in FDX and think that they are a leader in an untapped industry. But when so many crypto traders have the attention span of an ant and only care about silly P&D coins, it's difficult to explain why insurance trading is so beneficial. |

From my point of view this project is moving with a good momentum recently they become partner with promising project. As I think future of this token will be very profitable for all investors but it demand some patience and good support from us. |

You have a very valid point, gaining awareness is one challenge we are facing not just the "real" world but also the "crypto" world. We are gaining traction in the real world with conferences and media coverage. This industry of insurance has its own way to get adopted by big players but the competition is getting interesting. Blockchain will be used successfully in area of services to eliminate the fraud and brokers role that is big hurdle on its way of success. It will need lot of time and hard work to see adoption but once it is done the market is of billions dollars to be explored ahead.

Traditional industries (especially those highly regulated such as Banking and Insurance) have too many legacy issues to innovate and after so much talk about blockchain, AI, big data, etc etc.... what notable innovation have we witness from them? They are constantly hiding behind regulatory and legacy systems as a reason for not innovating! We need more projects such as fidentiaX to shake them into moving their arse! |

It's not fair. Because some people don't like hold their tokens in a special exchange. For most of the tokens that have airdrop, holders receive the airdrop on their personal wallet. But FidentiaX is different. It's my right to select the wallet I use. Hi, we are not forcing fdX hodlers to move their tokens to coss, the objective of the campaign is to increase awareness and tokenholder base, however we are not excluding existing tokenholders and accord the same airdrop as per the campaign. Thanks for the clarification. It has no sense to force people to hold their tokens in any exchange because is something that many don't like. |

Sad to see the price of FDX today because I bought last january with price of more than $ 1 (more than 9000 satoshi), but today the price is only 4 cents or 450 satoshi, I hope the team immediately do everything possible to make Fidentiax great again.

It is a great shame that there is hardly any demand for the Fidentia token on the exchanges. I am still holding it since ICO but the price has really plummeted and it is a big shame really. I hope in the future things get much better in this regard and demand for FIDENTIA increases over time so holders can see a return on their initial investment at least and break even. I will continue to hold and follow the project as I do not like selling tokens at a huge loss.
