For ERC20 tokens Myetherwallet is quite popular.

Here is an older discussion on the same question, actually, which can be helpful https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2006120.0

Myetherwallet is the most convenient and popular wallet. Many people use it. I heard that this is one of the most reliable purses. I think that you can also use this purse to store tokens
The fact is that unlike other purses, the etherium wallet has a file key and private key, which it is practically impossible to pick or crack. And other wallets use a binding to e-mail or something like this, which in turn can be hacked by an attacker.

I also rely more on storing the crypto currency of the myetherwallet wallet, and primarily because of its security. Of course there are still waves, but I still doubt them. Let's wait until the new NEO project shows.

Myetherwallet

Nope, you don't send Litecoin to Myetherwallet, it's only compatible with Ether and ERC20 based coins.

I'm sure both of you did not even read the main question made by OP. Read it first before you are going to reply something, don't make yourself looks so bad because you reply with something that does not even close to what is asked by OP.
Myetherwallet is only for eth and its tokens, while OP is talking about Litecoin. Do you think that you can store LTC on your MEW?

what is the best wallet for altcoin?

I guess the myetherwallet is now the best purse. Many people already use it and they have a good opinion about this purse. I, too, am satisfied with the work of the wallet

Im using MyetherWallet for receiving altcoins and send altcoins , because usually some ICO not receiving exchanger address.
I recommend using Myetherwallet for receiving and send your altcoins , easy to use , can add new coin (if not listed on exchanger). Roll Eyes

Myetherwallet is so safe wallet and I recommend this one to be used by the other people who seeks some convenient wallet for stocking, And we can also used an hardware wallet if we want to hold some big volume of alts. but still Myether wallet is more easier for me since I can use it wherever I want but we should always make sure to became more responsible to our private keys so that we will not became a victim of hacking.

I agree with you. that's why at this time I also use myetherwallet. In addition to the security, because in the wallet also has many variations of the coin

I think that you can use one more purse for your coins on your desktop And this is coinomi, which contains so many coins that the administration always replenishes. Unlike other commas, no one can access it except the user.

Myetherwallet is the best choice for you to hold your coins. It is safer wallet than others. Don't share your private key to others.

Most users uses myetherwallet because most altcoins is based in ERC20. It is safer to use , just do not post your private keys and do not give it to anyone whom you do not trust. You can also used jaxx wallet , waveswallet , ledger . Wallets that you can have your own seed phrases and private keys is much secure than storing altcoins in exchange wallets. You cannot assure your altcoins in exchanges wallet. There is a possibilty for you to lose all your altcoins.
