Myetherwallet can be a good choice for you to try, because I think one of the wallets is safe

Its again. Myetherwallet is not for altcoin dude. Its only for etherium and erc20 token.
Myetherwallet is very good choice but not for all altcoin and only for etherium. You need another wallet to save altcoin
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

1. Exodus is easy and safe to use. Not only support with LTC but also with other altcoin, including BTC, DOGE, ETH, DASH, GNT, REP, DCR.
2. Coinomi is also easy and safe. more support with other altcoin: BTC, ABN, AC, AUR, BTA, BELA, XBC, BLK, BRIT, CDN, CCN, CLAM, CLUB, COMP, DASH, DGB, DOGE, DGC, EDR, EFL, EMC2, ETH, ETC, EXP, FTC, INN, IOP, JUM, LDCN, LBRY, LTC, MONA, XMY, NMC, NAV, NEOS, NVC, USNBT, NSR, OK, PKB, PPC, PSB, PIVX, POSW, POT, RDD, RICHX, RBY, SDC, SMLY, SLR, STRAT, SYS, UNO, XVG, VRT, VASH, ZEC, XZC. it's just that I do not know coinomi is available for desktop or not

maybe someone can add and correct this

I think coinomi is only available for android phone and I hope in the future, the desktop version is released so we can use it on our computer. I prefer with coinomi because it could store much of coin without any problem and I use it until now. the other multi wallet that I know is jaxx and coin payment but the only jaxx that is available for the desktop version.

Jaxx is also available as a chrome extension. But from my experience coinomi has much more alts and works somewhat better. You can protect it with password and you have recovery phrase, so it is safe even if you loose or break your phone.

The best wallet is myetherwallet because it is very safe and secure as long as you keep your private key and password.

Yes, if you look for Ethereum based smart contract then it is always good to choose them already we find a good wallet by storing them in MEW. It is providing lot of security measures and every thing will be in your control in case of any transfer required means.

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better

I find coinbase in one of the best wallet to store LTC and Bitcoin. We have Myether, Electron, blockchain.info and etc. Make sure you choose the best wallet and enable the security options given by the  wallet administors. Activate 2FA authendication if your wallets has this option. Its always so welcoming. Once the wallet is opened, you will receive a code to your registered mobile number plus a mail to your registered mail id. These steps would keep you secured from hacking. Always recheck the URL.

There's something wrong here.

This is one of the few comments that received merit on this 3d, and it talks about coinbase, that basically is not a wallet but an exchange (you dont control private keys!)

People needs to get complete and right informations

Currently, the Myetherwallet can contain most of the airdrop and bounty coin, because these coin are mainly based on etherum's ERC20 platform. However, there are some types of coin that are required on separate wallets, for example BTC use blockchain wallet, DOGECOIN use DOGE wallet ... LTC in your case, use Litecoin wallet

Myetherwallet is so safe wallet and I recommend this one to be used by the other people who seek some convenient wallet for stocking, and we can also used a hardware wallet if we want to hold some big volume of Alts Smiley

We can use Coinomi wallet to store altcoin that we have. And the way is easy enough to get it, we can install from play store on android to use it. Or use the wallet from the exchange to save it. MEW just for ERC20 token so we cannot use for coin.

My favorite is ledger nano s. Out of all the other hardware wallets out there, it's the most secure and easiest with great compatibility.

Wallets for altcoins.
I personally, more trust (Triv) local wallet that was in my country (Indonesia). I have never used another wallet (Myetherwallet or other wallet) other than Triv,  until I now feel safe and I have never found a problem with Triv.

Coinomi and MyEtherWallet supports multiple Altcoins & tokens.  Bither & Bitpie combo good to use to claim & dump certain BTC forked coins.

Coinomi multi currency wallet is a mobile wallet and support a lot of altcoins even some that are not listed on coinmarketcap. Exodus, a desktop wallet also support a few a altcoin. Jaxx is also a good wallet with support for some altcoins. MyEtherwallet, Eidoo, Imtoken only support Ethereum token

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better
I think that one of the best purses for storing altcoyins, namely the tokens of the ERC20 marker, is the MyEtherWallet wallet. This is one of the most reliable and easy to use wallets. Now appeared some kind of purse LocalEtherWallet, which has the same interface, the same similar features, but it in this connection has signs of fraud.
It should be noted that LTC, this. it looks like a litecoin coin for which the MyEtherWallet wallet will not work.
