Author Topic: I have 2x gtx 1070 and 1x gtx 970 4gb can they work in same rig ?  (Read 234 times)

Can anyone tell me how can i make this working ?
Should i install first the 1070 gpus then install de 970 driver and add in the rig or how can i do this ?

You don't have to install separate drivers. All 3 will work under the same, latest Nvidia driver.
Just go ahead and install them normally, making sure that your power supply can handle them, and install the latest driver.
You can then use them just fine with any CUDA miner, no need further steps necessary.

So i just install the latest nvidia driver for 1070 and all gonna work through ?

yes, they all use the same driver package.  I'm mixing 970s, 1070s, 1060s in my odd ball rig.

That`s great....i have also one 1080ti maybe i put the 970 gtx in my pc and 1080ti in the rig....

there won't be any problem for working such mix in your system, insert the, install driver and everything will be working as required!
however, there is one thing that worth to mention : insert most powerful VGA card in your primary X16 PICE-E slot - this will give you possibility to play your new favourites games @ max power, while rest cards are mining

or, instead - put gtx970 there if performance she produce is enough  for the game you're playing and mine on 1070 with ease
