Yes you can place order but I don't understand your 2nd question. What do you mean by losing ACC?

Token isn't lost ever. You either sell it on exchanges or pay with it to mine Monero, BTC Gold or Ether.

You can stake/mine ACC token every 3 days. But if you have only 100 or so then its better to do every month or 3 months. You receive extra ACC inmediatly if transaction was succesfull and one was holding them for more then 3 days.
