There is no "moon" at all and nobody knows where is the limit and when it will be high enough to sell it. Because everyone is different - the limit is different for each holder.

Actually, it is a really good question. I wondered about the 'good' and satisfying price to sell Bitcoin many times.
At this point, I am just gonna assume that "the Moon" is simply bitcoin's never-ending struggle to reach higher and higher price.
I don't think we will see stable bitcoin price, it will be growing constantly - effectively pushing boundaries and changing people's perception of a 'good' bitcoin's price.

This thread makes me amazed by it's title, we do really see moon always with bitcoin post by users whenever bitcoin pumps,going to the moon since its pricing of btc will always be pushing into the growth, referring that it will keep rising indefinitely.

I'm kind of a literalist. For me, Bitcoin won't be on the Moon until people are literally using Bitcoin on the Moon. Would be interesting to know what the price will be when that happens, lol.

This will be varying for everyone because they have their own target profits that they want to hit before they sell their bitcoin. As for the price it will be increasing in time so we really can't set a moon here because if you see the price increasing and going past the moon you set, you'll just set another one until the orice breaks it again.

bitcoin will continue to the fore with high spirits, otherwise what about other altcoin fate? if bitcoin goes to the moon then altecoin parachutes and no one dares to invest on new altecoin due to too-soar bitcoin.

When i read a post from some newbies saying that the price is going to moon, or just posts like "bitcoin to the moon" "X coin to the moon" it makes me want to close my account and left this forum foverever, it is full of newbies only wanting to make bitcoin go up because they are so greedy and lazy to get a real job.
It is full of those people, there is no moon for me, i see it as an investment, not a cartoon that i have to predict where is the moon.

i think no, because the distant from earth to the moon is 384,400 km but the value of bitcoin these days are only 5000$  so i guess it will need to reach 384,400 btc before we can say that we are on the moon although thats a really big amount but i think its posible because bitcoins value tends to increase overtime .

When I got my first btc, I didn't believed that it can reach current price. But I can't say that bitcoin already reached moon, because price still growing. When (if?) bitcoin reach $10000, honestly, I would call it as reaching moon.
P.S. When I see words "to the moon", first thing which cames to my head is dogecoin

Well, the moon is obviously an analogy for 'infinity', which will never arrive and is always shouted by newbies and amateurs.

Dogecoin sounds more worthy of these moon slogans

If you bought at 200$ then nowit is 6000$ that is almost 30x times profit or 2900%.If bought at 20$ then it is 300x times profit and 29000% profit. But wait if it hits 60000$ then the profit again increases 10x times which is then called mars not moon.

I have a realistic Moon at $50 000 per bitcoin and then a unrealistic Dream Moon, where 1 Satoshi = $1 US. At that stage, we might have to shift a comma to make provision for a smaller unit than a Satoshi, but that is a problem for the future. I would retire very early and never look back again at $100 000 000 per Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin Cash fork and the Bitcoin Gold fork and all the coming forks will make this impossible. ^sad^

The price of bitcoin is growing up, and i think that it can grow up more and more
But 300.000$ is a big sum
I think that $10-15k will be a good price, for next 1 year

If you had invest for 20$ then it would be definitely mooned by now.You can cash out but it depends on the number of coins you purchased.

I would say somewhere around the ballpark figure of $100,000 would be the moon for me. But eh, I've already gained some, so for as long as it keeps growing, I'll be happy.
