Hi all
I have a problem. I made a withdrawal of my unobtanium from cryptopia to bittrex
The problem is that it takes 300 confirms to do the deposit ! With ~5 min / confirm
And the coin will be delisted tomorrow the 20th of bittrex. So the deposit will be done too late
What will hapen ? What can I do ?
I'm lost

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Well AFAIK, if bittrex is delisting something means not your coins are deleted.
You can still withdrawal them again to cryptopia
|

It is good to read that Bittrex is having a good policy to protect assets of its clients in such situation. Especially nowadays where there are a few dark clouds gathering around Bittrex because of its sudden change of policy where they would allow you to withdraw your tokens if you don't disclose your full identity to them.

Lately I see a lot of complaints against Bittrex. I have an account there but I did not dare to use this exchange. There are many others. Perhaps these rumors are spread by competitors I don't know. I talk about my feelings. I'm happy for you if you get your coins back. Be sure to write if it happens.

You should be okay if you reach out to support and let them know the situation, they will not delete their wallet straight away once a coin is delisted just in case there are any issues, I don't know how long they would keep them for though but I think you will be fine if you reach out to support. |

The problem is, it's pumped..
So by the time it reaches bittrex approx. 12 hours, it can't be traded.
Then you have to send back to cryptopia (another 12 hours).
By the time it arrived at cryptopia, the value of the coin will already dumped alot.. i mean very very dumped...
And i think the pumping is purposedly done by bittrex, 12 hours before the coin delisted to prevent coins from outside market entering bittrex.
The developer UNO already complained a lot about bittrex pumping behaviour on their coin, look at their tweets.

I guess this is actually quite a scheme, you pump a coin which has some critical issues so that it needs 300 confirmation to enter exchanges, so while you pump there is not much supply at the exchange itself and the price can easily skyrock because none of the coin's bagholders held actually many coins in the exchange, ready to be unloaded. And when finally their coins frantically make it from their bags to the exchange and have gone through the hundreds of confirmations, the pump is by then over and the dump has already happened. |

I suspect you have nothing to worry about. Delisting just means it won't be availble to trade on the market, but I'm very sure your wallet will still be all right. Just to be sure, though, you might want to drop support a note to explain your situation. Not that you can expect they'll respond, but it doesn't hurt to try, right?
Next time, check everything before you transact, though! You know how unpredictable and unstable it can be in the world of crypto and exchanges.

I guess you're right BeggarInCryptos, there's some scheming going on.. 300 confirmation need at least 12 hours to complete, and the pumping started exactly 12 hours before the coin is deleted.

My UNO coins are stuck too. At the time of the RedPulse ICO, a NEO based Token, the bittrex NEO wallet went under automated maintenance so you cant withdraw any NEO, as soon as the ICO was over, the NEO wallet was out of maintenance. Also Bitshares was delisted recently, I think Bittrex is turning into a bank, you know, too much power corrupts too much.

It is likely that they increased the number of confirmations to prevent people from depositing it for pumps and dumps. |

You will have several days to withdraw your coins, as preposter already stated. I think, also deposit should work, because you got several confirmations, before unobtanium will have been delisted.
