Bcz they are afraid that BTC will replace regular money of that country. Thus I'm kinda surprised that russian government is going to legalize cryptos.

is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?
Some countries banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because first of all bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies doesnt give you taxes so that it is not good to government so they ban it.

yep, lack of tracking for tax purposes is a big one,
also too easy to move money with a click

all countries will want control of where and how their currency is being used and more importantly by whom.
some countries will want to ban simply as a regulatory safeguard to avoid citizens losing money if viewed as a scheme but highly doubtful

it will be tough to have a total ban as the electronic transfer aspect is tough to defeat.

Note, in many third world countries, american casino chips are used to pay bribes to govt officials

recipients travel to the US to collect chips and redeem for cash as needed.

In this example is it possible to ban the handling/ownership of casino chips ?

Some countries banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because first of all bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies doesnt give you taxes so that it is not good to government so they ban it.

That is definitely one of the reasons why some countries banned bitcoin. And perhaps because Bitcoin is a decentralized mode of payment transaction, they must be afraid that aside from them receiving nothing in return, the banks that are the ones backing up governments will become useless in the future. That is a normal reaction from something that is threatening their entire system. More so because the people are beginning to show strong support for bitcoin instead of banks.

Bitcoin is untraceable so meaning that countries government won be able to put tax on any bitcoin transaction. Meaning 0% profit for thier government.

Some countries ban bitcoin because there is not a way to control bitcoin centrally.  The countries have their own banking system and they have full control of there central bank.  Bitcoin on the other hand is a peer to peer transaction without the middleman.

If the governments in these countries are known to be corrupt, they want to make sure they keep it that way. There's no easier way to do that than controlling the money supply. Bitcoin takes this power away from them so we can all move on from these outdated ideas of what money is and grow as humanity, not just one person, government or country.

simple bcoz they want to be sure that this DIGITAL CURENNCY will not abuse and used by TERRORIST,
but they're blind to see what this DIGITAL MONEY can bring to them.

a peer to peer Transaction will help people all over the world.
BITCOIN is not BAD it is how they will use for.
beside Bitcoin is a Technology not for the Value.

In the comments I read from a friend on this forum, he said that the governments wanted to control their country's cash flow, and bitcoin against that, so they issued a ban on bitcoin.

Since bitcoin is uncontrolled by the government, transactions using this cannot be tracked nor regulated.
I think the some countries are threatened with the free access of bitcoin by everyone and thus it can be used for illegal transactions and scams.

They dont see bitcoin as a technology or an easy way to may transaction instead they see it as a threat in the economy where other banks and other technologies can be wipe out because of these technology other things like cash can be now useless.

Some country banned bitcoin for me is it because bitcoin can change the people in the country and they didn't know how it can help to improve the economy on their country. But I can't see and I don't know what is their reason to banned the things that people can be rich and successful.
