Sone government has banned because people are doing illegal activities through bitcoin. In my country bitcoin is banned for money laundering. We all know bitcoin transaction is untraceable and bitcoin is not handled by anyone. That's why some bad people are taking advantages of it.Also bitcoin is tax free, so many people transferring their fiat to bitcoin and saving money. This is not acceptable by government and so they banned bitcoin.

If the government will recognize bitcoin because of its benefits and the possible ways that will give them to help them to make more money then for me there will be no banning in bitcoin because the government are just afraid right now because of the decentralization that bitcoin has so they are banning bitcoin but if they will see the good or positive side of bitcoin then the banning will not happen.

I think that the government already is acknowledging the benefits of bitcoin to the society, and their move of not banning it is already a blessing to us. Mainly, countries ban the regulation of bitcoin since no government or organization can identify the transactions made by an individual under the dark web or the internet. Thus, it will be the perfect vessel for offenders to use it as a medium in order to buy illegal drugs, child pornography, etc.

Personally, I believe that the positive effects provided by bitcoin supersede the negative effects of its decentralized nature in the market. To think that bitcoin has the method of earning extra income already defeats the negative effects since most of the population nowadays are on the marginalized sector. It serves as an equalizer to the society since everyone has equal opportunities or rights to earn one.

The government has never been in support of a program  that would bring financial freedom to the public. Remember: "whoever controls your income controls your life" some sets of fraternity call themselves politicians; either by deceiving the masses or rigging elections in most cases and then they get to control our economy... How else would it have been?
Bitcoin protocol is the way out and they would never be in total support

I don't think any country has banned Bitcoin? Unless I'm mistaken? How would you ban bitcoins? It's like banning you playing a certain game. How would they do that? Countries have other things to worry about then Bitcoin I can assure you of that. People always talk about this or that being banned but where? How? Where is proof? Just naysay?

The main reason for this ban is it's really really difficult to control Bitcoin. Bitcoin transaction is anonymous so it's nearly impossible to find out the owner of any transaction. Beside countries banned Bitcoin because their technology still not developed enough to control Bitcoin and its disadvantages to prevent crime take advantage of Bitcoin to commit guilty like tax evasion, drug trafficking,....For now there are few countries legalized Bitcoin but these countries still not able to control Bitcoin totally so I think it'll take much longer to see Bitcoin legalized worldwide.

You say it's banned because it's difficult to control? Well then how you going to ban something that is difficult to control if you can't control it to begin with?
Well a number of countries had attempted to ban Bitcoin even without sound understanding of what Bitcoin really is and its inherent benefits, only to come into the rude awakening that Bitcoin cannot really be banned and some of the countries in the list have had to eat humble pie and now seeking for soft landing. Most of them are quick to cite the use of Bitcoin for illegal activities as their reason for the ban, but from their actions and utterances, it's evident they're been driven by ignorance, as a result they became apprehensive and over protective of their local currencies

There are only two to three countries or may be one more who banned bitcoin or other crypto currencies. This is ensure that people of that nation are not making any investment into fraud schemes or Ponzi ways of making wealth. Why so? Because this will protect the national economy by not letting the money fly away with fraudster. This step was taken by China to ensure the security of money for their people. That’s what written in the articles if you read over the internet. So may be that and also another reason says those countries don’t want to loose control over their national economy just because the nations money is driving into decentralised system.

The government considers bitcoin to be used for money laundering crimes. Terosris financing is also one of the causes of bitcoin rejected in some countries as it does in Ukraine suspect separatists use bitcoin to fund terrorist acts.

Does it really matter for us? We just need one country which permits the conversion of Bitcoin to fiat. Because since Bitcoin is a digital asset, it can be easily moved from one place to another. Users from all around the world can travel to that particular country, and there we can convert our coins to fiat cash. And we can return to our hometowns with this fiat cash.

Some other countries around the world have a wide ranging view of the digital currency bitcoin or a “virtual currency based on their monetary system policy!
Reasons why run the gamut, from fear and ignorance, to protectionism of their national currency, to building a new currency in bitcoin’s image. There are basic factors or is subject to change, as many countries have not made an official decision for or against bitcoin. Some are banned by the country’s Central Banking system, some are banned by the nation’s government, and in many countries the Central Bank and national government act as one and the same.  Smiley

One of the reason why CHINA banned the exchange of bitcoins is because it lacks legal basis.  As for me, I am in favor of regulating and passing a law regulating the use of bitcoins per se.  One of the reason is that, it is hard to trace or track transactions using bitcoins.  The government will eventually suffer because they cannot collect tax or impose tax on transaction being made or payed using bitcoins.

Only one reason I can think of why bitcoin is ban in some countries. It's basically that they are afraid that their people will be involve to illegal trades as bitcoin is popular before as the medium of payment for the trades that are happening in the dark web.

It is because bitcoin affects their economy in a bad way. Since most of the investments are sent into bitcoin rather than into their country the economy goes down and it results into the banning of bitcoin.

It seems to me that countries do not legalize bitcoin or do not hurry in making this decision, for several reasons. The authorities want to get their share of the crypto currency. They want to regulate them, they want to manage the resources of their citizens. After thanking the crypto-currencies, the tax will go away, the small salary at work will leave. This is the currency of the future, a serious step in evolution Cool Roll Eyes Wink

That makes sense to me because the government basically wants to also take advantage of bitcoin and digital currency. They definitely have the same idea that bitcoin is a currency that has very high prospects so bitcoin will basically be used in the future. The government is trying to regulate and also regulate how bitcoin is applied later, this is a reasonable way to happen. Look what the Chinese government did some time ago they tried to regulate and of course they got what they wanted.
