Can not get it who will forecast, AI, experts or " collective mind"? How one can be sure that it’s not pre-written?
There many use cases for prediction markets. We expect the majority of our users to be individuals who are inclined to get rewarded for their efforts in correctly predicting the outcomes. After all, monetary reward is very appealing motivator for people to do any kind of labor. As a result, people will seek to acquire relevant knowledge required for predicting the correct outcome of an event thus resulting in a vast pool of information about certain event/thing. Crowds are wise only if they harbour a sufficient diversity of opinion (Surowiecki, 2005). Thanks, but what is different from other prediction models realized on platform that are already on the market? Well, this is actually one of the problems we are trying to solve which is that there isn't such a platform on the market yet and we trying to be the first in this race. We are also trying to differentiate ourselves as a unique product by having a distinctive yet sophisticated and engaging interface to give everyone an opportunity to participate in predictions without any initial knowledge or experience in let's say forex markets.

Can you please answer these questions posed on reddit:
1.) Who is Amanda Benson? On Telegram I read that she is a shareholder, but not involved in the development, therefore not mentioned in the team. Buy she own 100% of the company, and just calling her "a shareholder" is a little bit odd. Please explain
2.) The company was found end of August 2017 (registered in the UK), but all teammembers began working for Moirai about a year ago . For which company did they work before Moirai was officially found? How was the company registered? Somehow there must be paperwork and proof of existence, right?
3.) Do you have any team photos or whatsoever? Please excuse that in an industry full of scams it could be possible that everything we see, also pictures of teammembers, are fake, and I am not 100% confident that everything with Moirai is A+. Any info which would help?
Also:
On ICO page you write PREDICTION MARKETS LT, on moirai.io it is Moirai Predict LTD, so which is it?
You state: "We might be one of the first ICOs to seek a self-regulation. This would mean that all our business activities such as financial standing, operational performance, etc. is audited and supervised by a legal institution in the UK.", but I do not see any proof of this. Do you not need a KYC for that? If no, why not?
Thanks
The company (Prediction Markets LTD) was incorporated under Ms.Benson's name since she was the initial backer of Moirai and for that she will retain a percentage of MOI tokens after the crowdsale. The company is likely to be bought-out by the current management and included as a sister company under new legal entity after the ICO. In the meantime, we are trying to acquire licenses under that company and move closer to at least being self-regulated, instead of dealing with this in the future. We've seen many other projects struggle with both the development and the legal side of the business and do not get anywhere. That's why we wanted to get our demo ready before the ICO which we think is a very big accomplishment compared to other projects, who still don't have anything to show. The team photo will be available next week to commemorate the start of the new beginning and will be posted on our website as well as on our other social medias. Any news on the team photo? Guys, this ICO is fake. 1,535 ETH is a LIE. The ETH address only shows merely 7 ETH (and honestly, today no ICO, especially with this website, makes 1,500 ETH just like that in the first 3 days). Please take all red flags into consideration, that is all I am saying.

I see at least one rival namely Peculium that can beat you in the race of predictions. Nevertheless the more competitors the better the market. Wish you a success in your endeavor.

Hello, Most of the tokens have been sold for several groups of large investors. Our smart contract doesn't reflect the token amount since the tokens haven't been distributed yet. All investors who contributed at the original cap will be sent additional tokens after the pre-sale. The amount will depend on the size of the contribution in ETH.
Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Is it possible to get a refund if you contributed to the pre-sale? usually a token sale has a smart contract behind it and there is nobody actually handeling the token emision..only the team can give you a refund

All signs point to a scam. Incorrect and unclear information about prediction markets on the front page and in the white paper. Spelling mistakes all over the place. Plagiarism from a Gnosis article in the whitepaper. Obvious paid actor in the introduction video rather than a team member. Photos and LinkedIn profiles look fake. All news articles are from non-reputable sources. Most likely paid off. From /u/alexej1909: Moirai is registered in the UK, with the CEO named Amanda Benson. See: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10940232/filing-historyIn a press release, Meryl Lynch is named as contact person. See: http://www.nbc-2.com/story/36617613/moirais-revolutionary-decentralized-prediction-market-to-create-a-sustainable-economyhttps://archive.is/1kpCXI cannot find both on the team list on the official website of Moirai. This reads more like an advertisement rather than journalism: https://archive.is/8QOUJAnd **it lists a different CEO than on the site.** And his "comments" in broken English are lifted from the white paper word for word. The hard cap was half what it is now and the date was 2 days later. Speaking of the date, most legit ICOs don't countdown for only 9 days. Creator of the subreddit is obvious shill and linked to other scams like BitRent. Obvious scam. Stay away. Incoming shilling in 3...2...1... Before investing, please always keep these questions in mind. Even tough investments are presumable 1,400 ETH (I believe its fake), there is still the change of a very professional scam. Before there are pictures of teams, team members and other proofs I would not invest, This ICO is a scam guys. Stay away! Every investor should read this article so they don't get scammed: https://medium.com/@VerifiedICOs/what-criteria-does-verified-icos-use-to-make-a-proper-ico-judgement-b2c9d29e7bbbAre these real people? No. "Peter Gilbert" is a fake LinkedIn profile connected to other fake companies set up by these frauds. Does the foundation/business have an office? If so is it real? They won't prove they actually have an office. If anyone is in London and wants to check it out, feel free Is the whitepaper technical enough? Not at all, it's full of fluff and plagiarism. Is the ICO offering a ridiculously high amount of bonuses?20% + 30% in presale, yes. What is the hard cap of a project?Way too much when they don't even have their project on GitHub, or a verifiable / good team. This is a scam.NEW INFO The Moirai ICO claims to have a COO going by the name of "Peter Gilbert" as seen here in the team section: https://ico.moirai.io/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-gilbert-00069414a/ Peter claims to have worked for a company called "Intelligent People Solutions Ltd" between the dates of 2011-2016 as the Senior Regional Director/Operations Director A quick search on Wayback shows the company about us page and Peter is not listed https://web.archive.org/web/20110619200948/http://www.intelligentpeoplesolutions.co.uk:80/about-us The company also stopped trading in 2012!!!!! https://companycheck.co.uk/company/07124777/INTELLIGENT-PEOPLE-SOLUTIONS-LTD/companies-house-data
