They are different ways to invest here in bitcoin. I think that will help you a lot in investing your 100k in way of altcoin trading because if you invest some your money will make a lot of a profit you need some knowledge about the altcoins works

I think the present situation is that investing in ALT coins is a good way. Now the mainstream BTC, ETH, these coins are already in high positions, and ALT will have a good chance to keep up with mainstream coins

The bitcoin security to increase your profits should not go unnoticed, however if you find an ICO with great potential at relatively low costs investing about 100$ or 200$ would not be a bad idea.

Store half in fiat (either USDT and USD) to buy some cheap crypto when there will be dump in the market. And invest half in multiple cryptocurrencies along with bitcoin.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I personally think that you have enough funds to actually make smart investment moves, don't be afraid to take risks since they are really benefitial in times. However, I think that the best thing that you can do is to diversify on your investments, say spend 50% your overall funds on bitcoin, spend another 30% on altcoin investments and the remaining 20% ongoing and upcoming ICOs.

In cases you decide to invest in ICOs, I would recommend that you do your own personal research about the projects you will be investing in so that you don't end up getting scammed.

First off, you should know that Crypto currency investment are still regarded as a high risk investment. Bitcoin has the same risk as any other Alt coin and just as many risk factors influencing it's value as most Alt coins. Bitcoin has some advantages though : Widely accepted / Strong developers / History of high security / Large node base {increased decentralization} and no central authority in charge.

Only invest, what you are willing to lose. <golden rule #1>

Bitcoin is the most reliable coin so at the end of the day bitcoin is still the best investment to risk other than any coin. Bitcoin investment is for a long term goal profit if you want a big profit you must be patient. Just stay away with some ICO i dont believe them because most of the them are created to be a scam coin.

Diversification are for pussies, all in on the coin(s) you believed in. (considering you've made your due diligence, and it helps as well when you're technically sound person). Diversification are only for people that doesn't know what they are doing hence they diversify.

if 100K is dollar (not Zimbabwe fiat Wink) then it is such a big amount to invest, specially if you don't know what to do that you have to ask other random people on this forum for help.

my advice is to start smaller. don't go in big as your first step. unless you have been investing in cryptocurrencies for a while now (at least a year). because you need to understand how the market works, lose some money first before you really understand it and that loss breaks your illusions about altcoins mooning or getting rich over night with holding bitcoin,...

then my suggestion is to buy bitcoin first with 100% of your money then invest some of the bought bitcoin in trading. try both trading bitcoin and altcoins and take profit from altcoin pumps but never linger long in them.

There is a FOMO brewing...

If you believe a lot in bitcoin and you look at it as a long term investment then go put it all in. But if you are one of those people who want quick gains or afraid of losing the money you invested, I suggest you just put the money in the bank because if you make a mistake and get too scared if ever the price drops you'll just lose some of your money.

If you can hold your bitcoin for long term then buy bitcoin now and also receive bitcoin gold for free. And isf you have some knowledge about trading you can trade.Or buy a good altcoins and hold for long term. Also you can invest in ICO. But  before join an ico make a research because most of ico now days scam or project is not good. But bitcoin holding will be better choice.

you can do a lot of things in bitcoin if you really have $ 100k, you can start trading and make some investment in ICO altcoin project. because for me $ 100k it is a huge value.

You can try to buy bitcoin and 3 altcoin. Percentage is all your choice. Try to look for a graph which is going low for the altcoin, so choose wisely. Then you will just need to wait for a 20%-30% increase on Bitcoin price and 50%and up increase for the 3 altcoin you choose.

Don't go 100% in bitcoin, diversify and invest. if i were to invest ($)100k(?), i'll invest 60% in bitcoins, 20% will be fiat,20% in various promising altcoins(will require some researching).

You need to think about every risk before investing, because we know every trader is not always making a profit, I just give a little advice to buy bitcoin but not for the short term but still keep it in the wallet as a long-term investment

A protestive opinion. But the post attracts attention with its beginning - diversification for pussies. Even if you invest in 2 coins, this is already diversification. This will reduce the risks. After all, the final profit should be looked at over a long period of time. Look at Tezos for an example. Record investments, high expectations and a few months later are negative news. And how after such examples don't diversify?

Don't put all your eggs in one basket is just about the best advice you could receive on this subject. Store at least half in fiat because it's far more stable, and put half into Bitcoin or an established altcoin. Don't make the mistake of throwing away your money.
