Yeah, it is legit project, it is obvious that the ICO will be successful, but their project market cap is too huge, over 200M usd, so they may not raise so much money.

With McAfee populaity it can be one of most successful ICOs we have ever seen. A lot of people will trust this.

I don't know, being popular among users who use McAfee antivirus (which is a shitty anti virus, tbh) won't make this coin instantly popular and successful. Mcafee's fame will definitely attract investors, but the cryptocurrency community will also play a big role on this. I believe most of us value our security and anonymity the most, and in that regard, McAfee is garbage.

It is amazing because Mcafee is the most famous Anti-virus software in the world. I think they will be the best blockchain project out there. I will invest no doubt.

I doubt that. I think avastus is way much more spread. It's free to use for regular users and for extra protection you can pay. I never heard of Mcafee to be honest. :|

i've been following his company's products. i can't see anything that's generating any profit so i don't see how his ico is gonna make any return either. i guess if you can offload it for more then cool but it would be nice to see something deliver properly.

Seems Mcafee's deals so bad.... As somebody said this is really one of the worst software in the world. Unfortunately very often preinstalled on some vendors products. And not easy to uninstall. But this is first thing i'm doing on new laptops!!!
Not sure i'll be following this project. Not about profit, but i don't want to support it at all. Just principal position!

Wow. If I were a newbie and I did not get the chance to read all the dirt on McAfee, I would have thought this a marvellous chance to buy some special coin with great backing. He also just ordered a heck lot of antminers from Bitmain. Whichever way he goes, he's gonna bring a lot of eyes on the crypto world and for that, I'm excited.

Doesn't smell legit. No video of him talking about the coin, and no public endorsement from him for the coin

I'd wait to see him make an official statement. It's difficult to imagine that this would be launched without some formal event with him present.

It's probably also one of the worst anti-virus you can have on your computer.. I had McAfee, forget about unistalling this thing.. ever..

It's a terrible resource hog and impossible to turn off. Although to be fair to John he did sell it to Intel so it's their awful product, not his.
