Hi,
Is it possible to manually edit the wallet.dat file to enter say address details without having to go through the process on the program interface?
Regards,
Jack

How often do you get the chance to work on a potentially world-changing project?

For example I want to add multiple bitcoin addresses. What tools are available? As w00dy said so, pywallet would do this easily You put all your private keys with their labels in a file and it imports them all

Yes, it is actually. Inserting a keypair manually into the wallet.dat file is possible, and there's readily available documentation on the structure of the raw wallet file.

Although I cant make any promises yet, I am, in fact, right now working on a stand-alone wallet.dat editor allowing you to view, edit, import/export and manage your private keys.
I will make an announcement here on the forums once a first testing alpha becomes ready!
