Hello everyone Smiley

We got an update from Bushstar, on the FTC team Smiley

Quote
UNOCS is getting closer to being released and will bring us solutions that we want for Feathercoin's merchants and for ourselves. Launch delays are nothing new and it is better to postpone than to launch a system before it is ready. It should be taken as a good sign that the developers will not launch until they believe the system is ready. I believe that UNOCS will prove itself useful overtime and will win over the critics. The Bridge is being put through some serious security testing before being launched as this is a professional enterprise system. This can be a costly and time consuming process that is more involved than running Nessus and Websploit as some would imagine.

Ultimately the UNOCS system is designed to make life easier for everyone and this is why Feathercoin is involved. The long term goals are very ambitious and look to solve some of the issues that the cryptocoin community face as a whole.  I am still as keen as ever to see this system launch as it is one step closer to the banking system that all the coins need.

Exciting. Can't wait to see what will happen when merchants and services start accepting PXC through the Bridge. This makes it all much easier, paving the path for mass adoption.

Will the bridge accept USD?

This is a quote from the coin desk article. Saying something about Fiat Wink

Quote
For the time being, users will still have to provision cyrptocurrency on their own before they can use the Bridge, but this will change as soon as the fiat module is implemented. The process will become somewhat easier as the three member currencies of UNOCS implement Bridge support into their respective clients.

And want to add to this:

To be safe: make a back-up of your wallet.dat on a regular base and before updating clients! That goes for every coin Smiley

In Windows, for PhenixCoin, you can find your wallet.dat in the following folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Phenixcoin

Didn't know that actually, can't you back it up just once?

That is not a problem DGC and WDC has much lower block rate.

Yes it is, you did it 2 months after release, you decreased value of coin, basically hitting in balls all those who mined and bought PXC within those 2 months Cheesy

IF DGC can hold the same price at much lower block rate so how we lowered it. Nothing bad is gonna happen. Be patient

DGC didn't change it 2 months after release

Even thought I hate other people telling others what to do, I think someone needs to intervene here:

@nawazish1 Your last three posts are so incredibly stupid and shows such a fundamental lack of understanding of crypto-currencies that someone should ban you from being able to buy and hold any.

What the developers have done is the same as a central bank promising they will only print x-amount of money and then all of a sudden with no warning just decide to double the speed of the printing press. You are just to blind to see why this is indeed a problem. And the worst this is not the biggest problem.

The worst is that the trust has been broken. How can you trust these guys any time in the future if they just randomly changes the rules. Next time they might say, because of the great work the developers have put into the UNOCS bridge, the next update will give 5PXC of all mined coins directly to the developers...

I cannot see any smart people wanting to hold this coin ever again.

You are only hurting yourself here. My best advice is turn all the joke coins you might hold into BTC and get back to work.

Your trust in the developers is kinda cute, almost like regular peoples trust of the central banks. They just devalued our currency, but I am sure they know what they are doing, this must be a great thing or else they would not have done it etc.

It is so incredibly disgusting what has happened here that there simply is no excuse. This coin is dead, no matter what great stuff they release. The trust is simply gone, and I am so angry I am personally gonna make sure I regularly remind everyone about this. Just a complete rip-off.

Well I know much more then you about this coin. You are right that PXC has lost lots of trust but it was just a single mistake of timer the developers did. I know whats coming for this coin and how things are going behind the scene. I think as you gave me an advice I also should do it. The best bet would be to wait and give them one more chance to clarify this situation.

And sorry to say but you guys are really impatient.

I have been with this coin longer than you, believe it or check my older posts. I was one of the first to mine this coin and have been patient up until now. The timer has nothing to do with this except of course that they tried to lie about it being delayed because they needed DDOS protection.

However, the problem here is a lot bigger and you will one day realize it. It does not matter what they release. No one in their right mind would trust a coin where there rules can randomly change at any point in time.
