But I am worry about the crash in 2018!
Reason:
1- Only bitcoin from all cryptocurrency is moving far far away from all other coins.
2- Ether is moving slowly up and steady.
3- As we are all aware 2/3 of all high profile ICO either are scams, or legally scams to be announced.
4- At least 3 from $50m + raised ICO are having problem executing!

Why should Bitcoin only moving up worry you? Bitcoin accounted for 80-90% of the crypto market cap in March this year. Only at that point did alts start taking off. Even now, Bitcoin only accounts for 60% of crypto market cap.

yes but last time the biggest bitcoin exchange (bitfinex) was hacked the "crash" was a tiny one which lasted less than a month.

bitcoin increased sharply and put away the other coin is a good signal because it received the attention of the investors. when investors investing in Bitcoin instead altcoin the Bitcoin price increase formidable. You should be worried about the future of altcoin. as far as I know, the upcoming fork causing altcoin reduce because we buy Bitcoin to get free BTG

People loves melodrama, and every time when they are not sure what's going to happen they start talks about crash, death, doom. Why should we crash now? Many prominent people - if we excuse those asholes from the Wall Street, talking about 10k and more. Bitcoin now and that one few years back, is not the same, today you can find so many information's about Bitcoin and only 4 years before it was hard to find information about mining rigs for example. Maybe adoption is not amazing but when it starts, rise will be exponential. Those small price machinations and manipulations I would not call crash.

Not all coins show the same utility and adoption, so why expect all coins to have close to the same value? Most alts are still overvalued, even now.

Relative to fiat, perhaps. Even then it's heavily oscillating, not "slowly moving up".

Relative to BTC we have seen a steady decline of ETH since Juli.

Will only marginally affect BTC -- if anything, ETH will be most heavily affected by these issues.

Why? Do expect all exchanges to blow up or run away with our coins at the same time? The exchange ecosystem is incredibly healthy right now. If one should fail, we now have many to replace it.

Take btc-e for example. One of the longest running exchanges in crypto-history. They got busted and shut down, yet it hardly made itself felt in the market.

1. Bitcoin's moving up so much because it saw a bear market of ears and was imo undervalued. But that's what often happens, markets overreact.
So this bullrun is just fair while all the shitcoins had a crazy spike in spring.And don't forget that ICO nonsense!

2. Ether had a massive run early this year and is still retracing from that. furthermore due to all those ICOs it seems it's only able to hold some of that value. It would far less without the ICOs imo.

3.You're right! ICOs are mostly scams.And if they go to hell it is what they deserve. People who were greedy as f*ck will have learned a very hard lesson. Next time they will go Bitcoin instead of those crap coming up every few months. And the down fall of ICOs won't have any significant effect on Bitcoin. It will strengthen Bitcoin!

5. There are so many exchanges out there. And more and more get regulated. If you're worried just use the regulated ones. And if you're smart you never hold a major amount of coins on any exchanges. Hold the a big portion somewhere in cold storage and only speculate with a small portion. And another hack may shake the market for a short moment of time, but won't have major effect like Mt.Gox had back in the days due to global exchange distribution. Back in the days Mt. Gox had more than 75% of global Bitcoin trading volume as far as I know. These days are over!!

I agree that we will bear phases sooner or later. That's how markets work. It goes up and it goes down. If you're in for the long run because you've understand Bitcoin and see the potential and analyzed the actual fundamentals, you will sit back without any major worries. Just buy and hold! In a few years you will look back and have a big smile in your face!

While many people were so excited for 2018, there you are making your own nightmare.

1. Isn't that a good news that bitcoin is "far far away" from your so called other "coins". That might be an indication that bitcoin is ruling the digital world.

2. Bitcoin is independent from ether and bitcoin has nothing to do with the slow moving of ether.

3-4. What is the connection of the problems of ICOs to bitcoin? I guess NONE. If ICOs wont success, investors will go back to bitcoin to invest.

Lastly, bitcoin is getting more and more popular nowadays, therefore there will be much more demand for bitcoin in the coming years making its price even higher. Seems like all you have cited above was in favor of bitcoin.

There is potential for a big correction for Bitcoin. We’re seeing a little one now but it could go lower now or next year. It depends on news and regulations.

This drop today tells me that the increase over $6000 was not all due to the hard fork because we haven’t even gotten there yet. We could actually see another drop if exchanges don’t air drop the Bitcoin Gold to their Bitcoin holders. Be prepared if that happens.

That is a positive sign. This shows Bitcoin is much more promising coin than others. It is attracting large investors which will grow with time.

Who says Ether moving up steadily. It was $400 few months ago. Since than it is struggling between $180-350.

Same trend will continue for next year too. Crypto investors are fool, and will continue to act as fool as far as they see profits.

There's always a threat of a big crash but I don't think it's gonna be to a three or four year low or a dooms day scenario.  Bitcoin isn't gonna be going away anytime soon guys, so keep buying while you still can.

Bitcoin is constantly moving up since then so why would it be a threat? It has been like this for years but it never been a threat for a massive crash.
It continues to grow since it has a good features and continued to be trusted by many, there are lots of reason for it to go down but it won't crash massively.

Now bitcoin is not ready to die. Look at his results this year. He consistently is on the rise. I think that next year will be even more successful than this one. When the market capitalization of bitcoin will stop growing and the price will stop can be a fall in prices. This happens due to the fact that speculators will begin to withdraw their capital. It can stop bitcoin as an investment and then bitcoin will start a new life as currency.

Bitcoin is going to pull back or crash 25+% at some point because we know parabolic growth isn't sustainable. But I severely disagree with the reasoning behind your opinion. I don't think comparing altcoins to bitcoin is a good way to go about things. Altcoins are still very relient on bitcoin (some only have BTC pairs). I also don't see why ico's would have a negative impact on bitcoin. Ico's are like a start up, and usually 80% of all start ups don't survive their first year(s). So in essence an ico is practically the same as a start up. The only difference is that people tend to call it a scam when the business model fails. Disregarding the fact that some are just plain cash grabs.

And this is so bad? We need to remember that Bitcoin is original and the first ever cryptocurrency, it is rather obvious that it will be the highest rated cryptocurrency.
Do you think that other copy-paste altcoins should be more expensive as well? Why?

It might be the case, yet again, ICOs have very little to do with bitcoin. Simply disregard ICOs you think are harmful or totally useless.
Ban of ICO won't cause any trouble to Bitcoin IMO, there might be temporary downtrend but that is about all what might happen.

Again, just don't pay attention to ICOs, focus on 'real' coins. Created before ICO era begun.

I don't find this to be a crash. This is the time where the entire user community is keeping hold of bitcoin for a bigger profit. At present there are lots of users who have got committed to bitcoin and the same will soon make them rich. Maybe something interesting need to be made to avoid crash.

Ethereal can develop steadily, but what about bitcoin? It is not only stable but also very powerful. The development of ethereum can not be overcome by bitcoin, in contrast, it is being bitcoin slow. No chance for ethereum to compete with bitcoin.

I did not understand you, are you saying all other coins are going to clash to bitcoin? I expect 2018 to be one of the best year in the history of cryptocurrencies as we are becoming wiser and making cryptocurrencies investment with skills and knowledge. Many major markets players has foreseen and forecasts great progress in 2018 to 2020 for bitcoin and others major coins and I will stay with most of this forecast. You are right by saying that 2/3 of the ico projects are scams but the reality is that the remaining 1/3 are doing well and serving the purpose  there are established for.
