Hey guys!

Firstly, thanks for the continuing support with Armory. Much love.

I'll start by saying im a novice and tech newb...but i love cypto (:

I bought coins somewhere around 2012/2013 and put them in Armory. I made a paper backup ( i think that's the root key? ). i know my passphrase too.

I'm a mac user trying to run Armory 0.93.3 on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 with only 36gb free hard drive space after the blockchain loads.

The problem im having is i get a BDM error the moment afer i get the "blockchain loading is complete" notification...i think this is because of the fork and i need a newer version of Armory but im struggling to run any from your downloads page. my macbook just wouldnt open the apps...?

I have read the README and realise they're are problems with this build.

I do have another brand new macbook running mas os Sierra 10.12.67, which has never had Armory installed.

I would ideally like to access these coins within a week or so, what do you suggest i do? All the "terminal code" talk is beyond me!

Should i download Armory on my new macbook and somehow enter the root key for a wallet restore?

Thanks for your time

The version you are using is ancient, use this instead:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2227856.0

Don't forget to first move the folder with Finder before trying to run the binary. OSX shenanigans and stuff.

You can also setup a Ubuntu VM and run Armory from within there.

I thinks that's correct - well, least the app tried to open this time.

Thanks for trying, goatpig. Shall i PM droark or wait for him to find me?

Thank you
