Just buy them on big exchanges for a good price you know you can easily miss and use that to buy other coins this way you will expand your profit in other coins and you will ear a lot more from them instead of only investing in bitcoin or eth.

The best way for starters is just to buy them at blockchain. Make a wallet on blockchain and you can quickly buy some bitcoins and also ETH. Blockchain has added ETH.

So you can buy btc and ETH on their wallet. Plus its safe and a trusted wallet.

Coinbase has to be the easiest for newbies. It's a company anyone new can trust. They don't have to keep them them there they can just withdraw it to one of their own wallets where they have the private keys.

Hi all,

Ive been investing small amounts in Bitcoin and ethereum for a year or so now but i wanted to ask what is the best or easiest way for a newbie to buy the currency now. I have a coinbase account so im able to purchase quickly if need be but so many buy sites make it very difficult for newbies to make such purchases in quick time. What is there out there thats on board and safe for anyone wanting to join the market quickly and start investing in such currencies?

Kind Regards

Griff
My opinion: if a current newbie wants to invest in this market. Better to invest in ETH. ETH is very potent and it will grow with bitcoin. The thing to do is buy ETH and wait for it to rise

Ohhhh NO!!! Ethereum is great blockchain for smart contracts.
Do you really think Ethereum has potential to increase market capitaliz. ??
In my opinion, Litecoin is the currency which is undervalued and have potential to go up to $500+
Litecoin should also take the scene of micro-payments from "tired" Bitcoin.

Bitstamp offer buying coins via SEPA and credit cards, but you need to be verified.

But last month ETH have no growing, and BTC close to double up its capitalization.

Eth isn't growing nor on a dump but rather it's stable on it's 300$ mark and there's no reason for it to pump or dump right now since there's no event coming yet for it unlike in bitcoin which a fork or some kind will happen soon that's why it's price skyrocketed these days but it will be sooner or later that other altcoin specially ETH to pump once bitcoin goes stable and it's event ended.

The best way is using local bitcoins or coinbase. The former being my most preferred method because its simple and quick. Using exchanges generally take longer, yet with locabtc your trade will not last more than 10min . Once you have  the Bitcoins then you can transfer them to a multicoin wallet (like exodus and coinomi) then split half to Ethereum

While you are just a beginner, unfortunately Ethereum can not master you. Although maybe I'm wrong, it all depends on your knowledge and intelligence. At this stage, stay in bitkoin. But besides this, read a lot of information and study all.

when you are a newbie, to be sure go for BTC instead of altcoin, big fluctuation of the main coin can give you some gain while with alts you need to be a bit more expert before start to trade and earn.

If you want to buy bitcoin as fast as possible, then you buy it from your local market or from local seller. just find out in around of you. It's easy way to buy with your cash. And now bitcoin is in huge price so it's best to buy ethereum now. I suggest you to buy ethereum now it's upon to you what will you buy.

i feel that localbitcoins dot com or some of this kind peer-to-peer exchange service should be one of the most convinient and fair ways to do that!

in my opinion before getting to know ethereal and investing in, better understanding bitcoin for now, reading a lot in forums, very helpful in certain things to be done, and investing, should start from the basics or the beginning.

Localbitcoin.com is a great and large site for buying and selling bitcoins. Its a secure and safe way to buy bitcoins. I myself use this site to buy bitcoins and for selling. The seller should be online if you want instant money he can send your cash into your local bank in just 10-15 mints.
Ethereum can be buy from exchanges only and there is no local exchange for it as compare to bitcoins. I usually prefer Poloniex to buy Eth.

In my country there are a few legit websites that sell Bitcoin and usually I tell my friends to buy from them as transactions are usually fast.
Some of them are currently closed because some of the banks closed accounts that are used for BTC trading tho Sad

Bitcoin of course, buying bitcoin is more efficient and wise choice to do. Because of this they are rest assured that their money is in the good hands and can get a huge amount of interest for just short period of time.
