Question: Please choose the coin-swap mechanic you prefer. For further details regarding the logic please read the most recent update (30th October). The option that receives the most votes by Saturday the 4th November, will be the one applied to the swap.
* You get ONE coin on the new blockchain for every FOUR Signatum V1 coins you swap to the new blockchain. All Signatum V1 coins received during the swap, will be burned.
* You get ONE coin on the new blockchain for every TWENTY Signatum V1 coins you swap to the new blockchain. You will then get to keep your Signatum V1 coins in the process too and are free to trade them afterwards. Hence no coins will be burned.

Who cant sync, try to add to exeption your signatum wallet , or just disable windows firewall.
Sometimes it help.

I'm also having some issues with the original wallet.  Version v1.0.0.0-g32a928e

Have added in the nodes from rmh01's post, have 16 connections and left for a few hours but still the same 'wallet is out of sync'.

this sucks...why would anyone wait for 6 years to recieve coins...I'll just hold on to my SIGT

The way I see it, the choice is selling SIGT for a penny each today, or choosing to receive STRAKS rewards over time.

Currently, with STAK being worth about 61 cents per coin today, and knowing that the SIGT exchange rate is 4 for 1, that means if I received all of the STRAKS conversion TODAY it would be worth FIFTEEN times what SIGT is worth.

I think it is a no-brainer.  STRAKS either hits or misses, but I think the odds of getting anything worthwhile rest with the conversion.

The timing is dependent upon the number of coins being converted.  If it is 100% of SIGT then it will take about 6 years.  If it is 25% then it will take 1.5 years.

I understand the need for this.  If pricing remains the same, the SIGT conversion to STRAKS will come with an immediate appreciation of more than 1500%.  That cannot be allowed to hit the markets all at once.  It has to take place at much the same pace as the mining that is going on.

I have about 12,500 SIGT that I mined.  Last I checked it was worth a little over 100 bucks.  I gave up mining about 1500.00 of Ethereum at today's values.  If I have any shot of receiving what I gave up in lost opportunity then it is with the exchange.

I finally figured out how it works.  There was a link for an invite to the Discord channel that I found a page or two back in this forum.  Prior to that I was finding a dead end at Discord.  I got into the channel, saw the bot that does the swap, initiated the process with the !swap command as a private message to the bot (not in the channel itself) and within 5 minutes all of my SIGT had been burned with the process leaving me with a bit over 3100 STAK coins to be received over time.

I think the link was https://discord.gg/MuqYpgE

i will keep my sigt. assume my losses and no way ill wait 6 years for a a conversion to straks.
There are a lot of big accounts that stil have a lot of sigt.
a little more of 30million sigt were burned untill today. this left about 110million of sigt in the market.
i know that at the end of swap more people will make the swap.

but i doubt that more than 50% will be swapped. the remaining sigt if forked by other team with a more realistic project could take my vote.

So what happened to the SIGT first version? Is it the same version as with the second version that is reportedly being released today? What would be the current position of many of those  who are holding the first version coins? I like to hear what they are saying.

This signatum stills have great potential. There is an opportunity to buy the first version to accumulate and wait the swap.  You should wait, for more info please go the the main thread in this forum.

Cryptopia shut down Signatum wallet but let the deposit button active at the time, without disabling it nor any message stating wallet was deslisted...
This happened just a few days after that mess between the Doc and Cryptopia and because of that I have been stolen all my Sigts by Cryptopia and they always refused to refund me!
I guess that even with proofs of wallet, transactions, and messages with cryptopia I will never see those back, right? (Please, please tell me I'm wrong ;p)

Hello

I am not a blockchain savvy guy but i think there are someone among us that can lead the old SIGNATUM project.
The only week thing about this coin were the devs (sorry devs!), because all the project was very nice. I liked it a lot since day one i started mining coin.
Signatum always looked to me like bitcoin was at the beggining.

If we had a couple of devs with half the brain of my dogs at this time with the crypto world beeing mainstream the signatum will be skyrocketing.
Huge community and miners, and noone to lead the [original] signatum to the next phase?

Why not appeal for a new exchange like CEX.IO, i think they use to insert new coins by voting and we used to have a big community, so lets appeal and vote.

I don´t care about straks and i lost some money with SIGT - (that i recovered later with other coins i mined), but no way i swap my SIGT for a project that keep my invested money for six years.

One technical question, if we all have our wallets open nodes will not be losted, right?

And as someone as said before this swap is only creating a potencial for signatum value a lot more in the future. Today about 37 million burned.
Only 100 million signatum exists today and tomorrow more will burn. Let them burn...... i liked it.

I hope swap will be more than 50% burning because the only thing i never liked much about signatum was the number of coins, that looked to me to much. Now is becaming perfect with this STRAKS swap burn... eh eh eh

Please do not let die signatum, where are the community?
How about to create a new MODERATED THREAD to not let die the good old signatum, and keep FUDDERS away?

Let´s try to contatct sonehow doc and skunk and try to convince them to pass code to a honest team.

where can i find about that 6 years period ?
I really hope that they make a really solid coin to last, just like the top ones, and i hope that the greed doesn't consume the devs of the new coin.

You can check it here: https://straks.news/swapcalculator/

I won't sell mine either and also dislike that we don't have thread anymore.

In my oppinion there will be new devs to signatum soon.
