Looking at what happened after bitcoin cash was done. Btc crashed hard and alts mooned.

I think later this week we will see exactly the same thing.

Yes, most alts are overdue for a rally. Bitcoin gold out of the way as well as Chinese
5-yearly party meeting ending next week can help.

I don't think it'll happen this week, but soon enough some alts will see some nice highs I think.

Yes probably, bitcoin has the 57-58% of the whole market now, you can't even imagine how big this alt rally will be. I think it will be huge

the biggest ever in percentage gains has already happened. it can't happen again otherwise alts would be worth more than everything in the solar system.

i expect a decent rally. i also don't see how many of the big ones can go much higher in the near term. they don't look like the greatest bets to me if you're in the market for huge gains.

People will sell their Bitcoin Gold and majority will probably put them into altcoins. The question is whether they will move their bitcoin back into alts.

Ethereum and its assets grow. BNT, Iconomi and aragon are doing very nice things. But everyone can not do it because they focus on BTC.

Yeah - also think the market will remain a bit uncertain until the second for is over.

Yeah it's possible that altcoins will grow after end of this month and bitcoin will crash as most people converted their altcoins to bitcoin to claim bitcoin gold and after the 25th october people will start to invest in altcoin again so we will surely see another altcoin to the moon but the question is in which altcoin to invest after the bitcoin fork?  Grin

I think that the most Alts will recover by the end of November. And perhaps It's actually good time to buy alts now, not sure.

We've already seen biggest alt rally this year. 2 big rallies in same year? I don't think we'll see something like that.
I rather see a dump fest more likely.

I also think that the small and not so well known projects will have considerable gains. In particular, those coins that have seen dramatic losses during the last months but have some good fundamentals (i.e. tech, use-cases, etc.), such as SIA, FLO, or RAD - for these coins there seems to be a huge potential for being pumped.

What do you guys think about such coins?

Ah yeah.

That's how usually the market is moving. When BTC is getting gains, everyone is jumping on it. Honestly there is a good reason as well, BTC is forking and everyone want to get that free BTC gold, but it's ridiculous in the long-term sense. Does that mean that whenever there is a fork we'll see BTC's value increase only cause of that? That's really bad and it's good bubble material, because the price increase of BTC at these times is not based on any real economic demand for BTC, but the demand is due to an alternative factor (BTC gold) which influences directly the price of BTC. I hope this ends, but from the other side that's good for any Altcoin believers, they usually rally as you've mentioned in such cases and it's a good chance for people to invest in some projects that are definitely not yet valued as much as they deserve to be. As long as it's good for the altcoins it's good for the overal market, so I don't complain.

Bitcoin gold is by far not the same thing as bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cahs had a lot of influential people backing it, while bitcoin gold is really just sort of a project for money for the devs. There is much less hype this time round at least in my opinion.

Sure, altcoins could go up, but it's not going to be the biggest rally.

Plus after BCC, bitcoin actually went up quite a bit.

Biggest alt coin rally so far is ethereum. The next big thing is bos coin or exscudo in my opinion. You can cjeck their blog they are really qorking on the project just like ethereum did. Unlike tezos which get a bad rumor. I believe boscoin will spike after the launch in this end of the month. And after main net launch at q1 2018 it will worth $5 at least
