A good choice. I've also bought some ETH these days and I believe that we made a right decision
Now or later, ETH is going to go (not maybe to the moon, but it would be great) increase in price significantly.
Now a lot of ETH's problems are being elaborated and different ways of solving all ETH's obstacles are being examined.
So, the whole ETH potential will be revealed in the nearest future and the price will change.
Hold BTC, hold ETH, hold other altcoins too.

Vertcoin, the big pump is behind us, it can still go up to 7/8 dollars maximum I think for the next days / weeks. Even if the long-term potential is still interesting.

For my part I would say the Zcoin, it has a huge potential. One of the best anonymous technology and an incredible team. Very very professional! Can easily go up to 25/30 dollars, and a lot more in a few weeks / months.

Then I think that ETP metaverse could be a good bet for the last quarter.

Definitely do your own research. Nobody has your best interests in mind than YOU.

Also, I tend to stick with industries that I'm passionate and knowledgeable about. That really helps in spotting the scams from the quality projects.

ETH and many other coins, my friend.
Of course EHT, BTC are top list coins and mostly worth for investments.
But do not forget about the other coins which really had a great potential which should be revealed in future, maybe not nearest future, but they probably will.
So, taking in consideration for investment BTC and ETH should have priority and after that look at other top 15 coins and investigate them all and make decision where to invest
But do not invest the amount of money you are afraid to lose!
