Many bounties distributed already and 1 mil premine is not a big deal compare to many other coins. Especially it does not create a barrier to go to exchange at all, many examples are there.
Personally, I am ok if some reasonable premines are done and publicly announced. After all, for a coin, you need mining pool, website, block explorer, gaming site, giveaways, faucets, etc. Dev has merit to get some too. As long as the coin/mining is supported correctly I have no problem with it.
