Hi,
The AltCoins are going back up have I missed out on getting them cheap?
Or are they still going to go down today?
I thought the BTG fork was on the 25th?

Well, where did you get the idea of BTG driving the price of altcoins up?
Because what i can see right now it is actually the crash of bitcoin that has made altcoins go up again. Alts have been silent in the background for long enough and the beasts that they are are just coming once again.
BTG fork has not been completed yet, however.

Bittrex already made its snapshot for BTG, so yes the fork has been already virtualy made.
When people know thay have their BTG, they can start buying alts low, (they are low because everybody sold their altcoin to buy btc, and claim BTG).
So yes, you probably miss the train for the low altcoins, but there are probably still some of them very low. Just check by yourself. You can't ask all the information to everybody when you are dealing with your money...
That's something that I don't understand seriously... You could have known in 3 clic on google, when was the BTG snapshot... Don't you really care at all about your money .

when you are talking about investing in altcoins generally then no it is never too late, there is always some altcoins that are rising. even a couple of days ago when the prices of all altcoins were dropping hard, some altcoins were still rising.
that is how the pump and dump (manipulated) market works. the coins go up for no reason. you just have to be lucky and get in at the right time and be wise enough to get out at the right time.

Alts party will start this time around so I think that you are late now in buying altcoins that are cheap. And for the BTG, the distribution of it is now done I think? So you're late. |

I think that will be possible to altcoin gets another correction after the bitcoin gold will have done because you can see all of the people will be interested to trade the bitcoin gold and a lot of money will be flying to it. |

the snapshot has happened and yes the altcoins have started to show gains while bitcoin is falling back slightly. it is really hard to know what is going to happen today but it looks to me like the pre bitcoin/gold event is starting to reverse and the trades into bitcoin before bitcoin gold are now leaving bitcoin and trading back into alts, but of course there is no need to panic. |

tomorrow price will dictate the price of altcoins in the next few weeks. If the price tomorrow is uptrend then it will last until next year, Just observe for now on what will be happening on the price so that you will not risk your money on unstable price of crypto.

the snapshot has happened and yes the altcoins have started to show gains while bitcoin is falling back slightly. it is really hard to know what is going to happen today but it looks to me like the pre bitcoin/gold event is starting to reverse and the trades into bitcoin before bitcoin gold are now leaving bitcoin and trading back into alts, but of course there is no need to panic. The efficiency of other around to be mined maybe is becoming easier that's why the are slightly increasing, because of the complication of bitcoin to be mined that requires advanced techs, some miners are finding other coins to be easier mined instead of just adjusting to btc only. Good strategy if you can't afford btc mining. |

BTG fork has not been completed yet, however.
Btg will go to public on 1st november or so , at least that is what i heard recently , However what we have seen is a split of bitcoin gold at block 491,407 on the original blockchain , So yeah it's still on the proccess , you can't claim it right now , And the altcoin pump price in the last 10 hours is caused of bitcoin fork for sure , what reason else? |

They are required to better Bitcoin. The alt coins which are created after aren't the reason and normally fade away with in a few weeks. |
