not it has not yet happened. the hard fork is apparently scheduled to happen on November 1. what is already over is the block that they used as their reference for distributing the BTG coins.

you can already see what the bitcoin price is!
and you can also see the BTG price which is very different in different exchanges. i have not checked bitfinex yet but in yobit it was 0.08BTC=456$

It did? Haven't felt it yet. Guess we have to wait till november 1 for it to be completely felt. As for the bitcoin's price i think it would not be that much affected.

At bittrex it was stated that snapshot block 491407 has occured yesterday so on 23 October and therefore Bitcoin gold is already on the exchanger. Some have said that this will occur tomorrow on 25th but it's important to say that this is different from hard fork scheduled for November.
Anyway it looks like this is rather confusing situation for many users because different informations are appearing everywhere all the time. And not all exchangers will be crediting their users with Bitcoin gold.

The code is not ready, on 1/11 you will receive BTG if the exchange you had you btc on made an announcement they will give it to their users. I heard that coinbase would not f.e. But Bittrex would. Needless to say you need to have BTC.

I have a tab Bitcoin gold in my purse, but access to it. Gives a message that for me is reserved, the amount of BTG which corresponds to the number of bitcoins in my wallet. As far as I understood, today was taken snapshot of the blockchain according to wich the btg will be disributed, but btg network will strart only on 1 november and only then btg will be credited to those who had btc on the moment of todays event.

Do we have desktop wallet for Bitcoingold where we can transfer our private keys, last time I have to wait three weeks after the fork when everything is safe to transfer to a bitcoincash supported wallet I like to do the same here in Bitcoingold.

Yes and earlier today yobit started with 600usd/btg.then its down to 400usd right now.
But yobit is locked for 2 days now.
And personally i donot trust them eaither.

It’s been traded at yobit with higher rates. The yobit exchanger already started that they will be supporting the bitcoin gold so the users might just fled there for good reason.


Anyway hard fork will be on November 1st and that’s going to be amazing day because bitcoin gold rates will increase for sure. Many people/investors are buying it today at lowest possible value and that will increase the valuation after fork. BTG could go 800 USD for sure. Better to buy now only.

But with such lack in bitcoin gold development, it is a very risky speculation... As you said : no wallet, no transaction, no replay protection tested...
