Quite sensible if you ask me but to pick a great project from the vast array of ico's coming up every now and then may be a tall order for newbies like myself.

Invest in small marketcaps like Worldcoin, Megacoin. Always check the team, the project, join social medias... look at marketcap and not coin value.

I think he can find many another coin that is still below $1 and I am sure that there is not just xvg and if he can search in coinmarketcap, I am sure that there are many coins that he can buy. but I admitted that to select the right coin, we need to research and analyze the coin especially with the project. and if the project is good to invest then we can buy right now and keep it for a while. we can read on their website, how good the project by reading the whitepaper and else.

I got into PRL before the big pump, also have some BLUE, ETH and XSPEC. I was holding verge but I was one of the ones that got out after that messy release. If a good marketing team gets on board with verge I think they will go places until than I am steering clear.

Those are good and it's well known that ada is do for a release and a nice increase in price.

But the way to make the most off of a small investment(in my opinion) is to find the coins that everyone doesn't know about.  Like ones not on cryptocap.  They're often a lot cheaper and have a lot further up to go and less down.

Take zelcash for example.
