It can’t be said so surely. There are chances of bitcoin going up again after the hardfork as people will be sure of future investment. It could have dropped already if people would have thought of fork in the negative way but that’s not the case right now. The price will continue to rise in the want of more profits. Your speculation would have been turned out true if fork was all negative without free coins.

China just only recently banned ICOs. How will they even lift the ban so quickly? Give them some time to work on what they need to before they lift the ban again. It is not like the BTC prices are being hit badly by China now anyway

Yes, anything could happen with the bitcoin network in unexpected time period. Right now the focus just turned towards segwit2x. By fork price was expected to fall, but this hasn't gone big. Now it has started to increase once again cross $5750 to reach $6000 at the earliest.

As to what I'ved noticed, the people are really panicking once the price falls down. I mean, as we all know, last year the price of the was ranging from 400-800 usd only, but then this year, it surpassed the 1,000$ mark and the Bitcoin is still rising. Look at the support of the people to bitcoin, it was just amazing. And me, seeing bitcoin reaching 4,000$ was truely amazing. And I'm not going to complain about the price falling because as we all know, bitcoin is not stable, I mean the price is unpredictable, right? And don't be afraid guys, the support of people on bitcoin was truely amazing, there's nothing to worry about bitcoin falling again, it's normal.

Yes i also don´t think that bitcoin will fall to 4k, but if that happens many people could buy it as you have said. They could have a profit because we know that bitcoin is unstable.

People have to buy up the coin to get the forked coins though so after this fork comes another and another until coinmarketcap page is full of forked coins.  Forks of this type could be the killer app or the next ICOs.

Does not looks like that bitcoin will drop back to $4000. After yesterday the price fall, the price has started to increase again and it looks like we will reach 6000$ within couple of days. $5400 was a good chance for new buyers.

Hardly ever again and even with the price corrections and whatnot after the fork, there's hardly any way that the price will drop below $4500. Maybe if there's some all out massive ban across the world but I think we all know if that will ever happen.
