At this current market scenario, holding bitcoins gives better ROI (not a financial opinion but it is market trend). Bitcoin as a security, no, because, at the moment, many governments are hostile.
So the question has come, will Bitcoin be adopted by mass? The answer is, It will take time, but mass adoption will faster than Credit card. Just check the history of Credit card. As you know current model of credit card was issued by The Charga-Plate, developed in 1928, was an early predecessor of the credit card in the USA from the 1930s to the late 1950s. But mass adoption started from late 1970s, after accepted by major banks.

Warm Welcome to the Newbie  . Let me tell you that Bitcoin is not as complex as every beginner thinks. And right now the bitcoin is trading near $5700 levels after the Hard fork and it seems to be little sideways for now as there is no strong bullish or bearish movement is seen.But yes we should not forget that the main trend is bullish (long) and we must take positions along with the current trend of the bitcoin. I would request you to wait for the pullback (dips) and then enter your positions when it forms a good strong candle with good volume supporting it, expecting a bounce near $5000 levels if the price falls there, let's see how does the price behaves. |

There's no saying on whether you should buy Bitcoin now or not because the market is always so volatile. You might thought that you are late to the party but in actual fact the boat might have already started sailing away when you are considering to enter or not. Then again with Segwitx2 so closeby, I personally would wait and see. Segwitx2 is trying to take over the Bitcoin name itself so this can be quite disastrous if everything didn't goes well.

You already have a background on whenever you should buy bitcoin. As you know, it is best to buy bitcoin if the price is low. Bitcoin as of today may be considered high compared to the last 3 months but still, as shown from the trails of bitcoin price variation, bitcoin continues to rise. Bitcoin is very unpredictable such that it may fluctuate suddenly so as an advice, buying is a start if you really want to earn in bitcoin but you have to be really active with it so you can earn.

New user to the forums and new to Bitcoin overall, just looking for some advice. My friends have bought packs with USI-tech a few months ago when the price was around £2.5k per coin. I'm looking to get into it but just wondering when to go for it.
I've been waiting for the price to fall which it kind of has now, do I wait it out even longer for it to fork again in November? Or do I just put some money into it now. I've been doing a lot of research before I do anything but just want some opinions on here please.
If you really wanted to invest with Bitcoin ever since but hesitate always then you are in jeopardy I think because no one can really tell what will happen in the future because no one came from it, if you have the money to invest with Bitcoin then anytime is the good time to invest with as the price of it is always going up even though there is a slight fall downs it always bounces back for a bigger price. Don't wait for an another dip because you will become so frustrated if that never happens instead take as your investment for a long term so you will have less headache as I and many people believe that the price of Bitcoin will still grow exponentially in the next years. |

I think bitcoin will give good profit in long term, you can buy bitcoins in dips and hold for long time. I seen bitcoin from 30$, it is now 5700$. Now more people and more internet sites are adopting bitcoins as payment processor.

You have research and determine what you think the long term price is going to be.
If your price is higher than current price, then buy and hodl. There is going to be a ton of short term volatility.

not yet, bitcoin is rising again so think you should wait until bitcoin drop and buy when it low, not just buy it now at the price 6000$, by waiting and buying bitcoin at the lowest price so when bitcoin rise again, you can have profit much more than now.

In my opinion, if you are for long term investment, it is good to buy bitcoin now and hope to take profit in maybe around 5 to 10 years, but, if you are for short term trading, before you buy bitcoin, you should equip yourself with proper knowledge in trading and know technical analysis. It is not recommended to buy bitcoin now for short term because you might encounter some massive bloodbath in the next few days to come. When there is blood, that is a good opportunity to buy the dip.

No one can point to any specific time where it is deemed to be right to buy bitcoin. One thing for sure, if you don't get in now, you will be buying at a higher price at some point in the future. It will always dip, but the trend remains consistently upwards.

its also my prediction as what happen last august I'm waiting for some dumped so I can buy more but things is not moving according to my plan and it seems that its starting to jumped high again, so if ever that you are really a long term holder better to start buying now and wait for some years surely will be able to see what would be the turned out of your investment. |
