Why is it when diff of GLD went down, price also collapsed?

Because people switch to mining it, who don't actually give a shit about GLD as a coin, and dump it at the end of the day.

Why is it when diff of GLD went down, price also collapsed?

Because when diff drops, GLD gets profitable, miners start mining GLD and some of them start selling mined GLD and price drops.

Is gld.cryptocoinmine.com's pool stats and block stats shown are in delay ?  what is the local time set on the pool?
Because I just found a block 20 minutes ago while mining litecoin for the past 2-3 hours..
or is it just my shares submitted found a block after I left the pool..?

GLD coin is looking good, mining going well, market price stabilized, don't listen to the haters, this coin is going places.  The opinion of those on this board and what they think is legit, premined, or a coin with a future whatever means nothing.

This coin has a name, and a large community - other coins not so much.

I am thinking of having the CryptoCoin Mine Goldcoin pool the next pool to switch to PPS. During the transition both the current proportional pool and the new PPS pool would be running until the large majority of miners have switched over.

With PPS you are paid a straight rate for every valid share you submit. This rate is based on difficulty and block reward, so miners are not in competition to gain a percentage of shares for a block.

PPS is also paid out immediately, there is no waiting for blocks to confirm.

With PPS all the risk is on me, miners get paid the rate regardless of how long it takes the pool to find a block. This also means miners get paid for orphans, so that risk is also shifted to me.

With the added risk, I need to charge a higher pool fee. For the first week or so, I will not charge any fee to encourage miners to switch over. After, the rate will be 2.5%.

Bunch of crypto dorks and their mining rigs and tech know how mean nothing.  Investors and real world use is all that counts.  Sooner trolls like you realize that, the better.  I have the ear of some friends at CME, who may invest some money in GLD.  These people make more in a day than you make in a year.  Guys who make millions upon millions in S&P and Eurodollar (nothing to do with the Euro) futures yearly if not monthly.

People like you who troll these boards, with lint in your pockets, have no idea what money is, and have no idea what a few big investors can do for a coin.  And this is pocket change to these people.

All times on CryptoCoin Mine pools are unaltered Unix time stamps, which is calculated in the UTC time zone.

mishax1 - I am not seeing a user name like yours registered on the pool. What user name did you register with?

Great, another one who doesn't know how crypto works. Listen carefully, genius. If there are no miners, there are no blocks found. If no blocks are found. If there are no blocks found, there are no confirmations. If there are no confirmations, there are no completed transaction. You get were this is going? With out those Crypto dorks and their mining rigs, you can't send your coins anywhere. I'd say that makes them pretty fucking important to the value of your shitty coin.

Keep up to date with Goldcoin news and updates with our new Facebook Fanpage.

"Network hashrate is starting to look healthy with new miners coming onboard. I think the fact that the markets are able to sustain this new influx is a very good sign for Goldcoin." ~MicroGuy

https://www.facebook.com/gldtalk

you dumped some of the 7 million that were mined on the first day ?

big picture here Microguy

when you look at it on a longer time horizon { not that i really care don't get me wrong}

you are probably doing possible net damage to the "alternative prep-per type market"

because if in the wash up of all this they feel scammed and come back , some how or in some way , and find all this on this out of the way forum , do you really think they will ever invest in Crypto again ?

but hey - its not really my problem - i'm marketing a non pre-mined - stable investment , why don't you buy some - they will be worth more than 7 million GLD .

having said all that - if that 7 million were somehow distributed , and by magic - they don't get dumped , sure it could all work .

Because difficulty is adjusted, it only takes a couple miners to run the whole network. Without people using the coin mining is useless and a waste of energy. Therefore, it is the users and not the miners that is ultimately important.
