Was there already an official announcement? It seems like a mistake. But the price is normal. Sorry in my country will be much more expensive.

I posted this in the existing 1070Ti thread earlier this morning.  I went ahead and ordered an EVGA one for testing.  Hopefully it will do North of 500 Sol/s.

I am hesitant to order.  The price seems a little high for me to go from 1070s to 1070 ti.  I am currently getting 470 sol/s. I dont know if its worth it to replace my 1070 I just bought for 429 to go up 30sol/s.  I want to wait to see what people are getting out of these or at least till black friday when there may be a bigger sale on them.  If I am going to spend up and replace a card I think it may be best to just jump up to the 1080ti.

Also possible to pre-order on nvidias website for 449 i belive. (only for us/canada)

What is it that is the determinating factor of the hashrate? It has 8GB mem, CUDA cores close to an 1080, why shouldnt it be as good as a 1080?
Any hardware pro's that can answer?

Memory is a big factor. GDDR5x in the 1080 compared to GDDR5 in the GTX 1070 TI. It should be what makes or breaks the GPU in terms of mining, economically and gaming wise it doesn’t make sense to buy this thing either. IIRC 5 was better than 5X out of the box with the 1070 and 1080, not sure how it is now.

Indeed the mem type playes a role, but I believe we (miners) want the GDDR5 type, it performs better for mining if im not all wrong.

hm, as far as I know the speed will increase like +10% to the current GTX1070
but wait, the price is also +10-15% more? so what the point then?
to buy GTX1070ti for 489$ when you can buy GTX1080 for $509 and got Destiny2 worth of $60 from the same new egg?
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127945&cm_re=GTX_1080-_-14-127-945-_-Product

and 1080 will be faster for hole 20%-25% from GTX1070!

wow they moved up the price of the 1080 in order to squeeze in the high price of the 1070 ti.  1080 armor was like $500 last week now it's $550.   OH well pre order one for fun.

If 1070 Ti comes to market, will this lower other graphic cards prices ?

See the post above you, quite the opposite, it's quite the disappointment with such small memory bus.

I do not think so, some members suspect that NV will rise the prices instead!
I know that 1080ti is a very rare find now and the price gone up like $50 - $150 range
the price for simple version of 1080 will also rise, now I saw only one offer for $505, the rest are $550-570 range
and I thin NV will just make obsolete GTX1070, so if you want to spend $400 - nope, spend $450 now!

I was going to say, it looked like the price was very close to the 1080 when I first looked at it so why would anyone buy the 1070TI. Then I also seen they jacked up the 1080 prices in the meantime. It does seem like there are some dirty tricks going on with pricing, not sure if it is Nvidia or the retailers causing it though.

I was going to order one to try it out, but now I think I will hold off until some mining results start coming in.

I agree, there is stagnation in this regard... where are the 512 or 1024 bit memory bus?

When the people of the world will get that covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas...they will forget, like 911, wmds in irak, uss liberty or pedogate.

Yeah look at Vega 56 https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2993/radeon-rx-vega-56 Almost 10 times the memory bus for the same price.
