The fact that parts are so hard to find makes me very scared to buy an Avalon 7

The manufacturers normally only sell replacement accessories and not the actual hashboards themselves. You are now asking about parts for an out of production last generation miner. You will probably have to do a little more than throw up a single post on a forum to find the parts you need.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

THE six  has no new parts.

all you can do is buy old ones and piece it together.

Please support sidehack with his new miner project Send to : 1BURGERAXHH6Yi6LRybRJK7ybEm5m5HwTr

$299 is a pretty good price (compared to eBay) at miner-warez: https://minerwarez.com/collections/used-equipment

You could ask lightfoot if he is interested in fixing it.

You could check the power to the other board - make sure your cables are good. But there's no way (that I know of) to disable a board in the controller.

Under the advanced version of the Avalon dashboard it will give you error codes so you can diagnose the board problem.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

The error code you would be looking for is on the miner stats page, in the bottom right corner under the heading PG is where you find the code I think, it will give you a number code. Here is a link to what the codes mean
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon6#MM_Error_Codes
Just go to the error code heading.
Hope this helps
