what's with all that "found block for pool 0'?

edit:
also, cgminer reports "best share x" where x >=diff and doesnt submit accepted share, why is that?

It's a known issue, seems that it's currently based on the cgminer 3.2.0 and have some network bottleneck at the beginning, it should return normal after awhile.

So, right now it seems a 7970 can get 240 khash/s and a 2600K can get 40 khash/s right now at N factor being 9. This will change to HALF on 25 June so not excellent news there.

So the same card mining LTC would be 77.25 USD / month.

Mining YAC with CPU will bring about 19 USD / month. Mining LTC with same CPU will bring like 7 USD / month so not worth it.

YAC mining is worth it for CPUs ? Worth paying for a 4770K right now ?

So with difficulty around 19 on onecoin and still can't solomine with 400 kh/s, absolutely all rejects, even though onecoin uses scrypt-jane.

EDIT nvm author not using scrypt chacha, but scrypt salsa 64 and blake512.

from yacoin.org:

Quote

Making all peers equal

Long-term safety from GPU and ASIC mining

YaCoin is the first Internet crypto currency to guarantee long-term protection against GPU and ASIC mining. This enables all peers to participate equally in the network, regardless of their financial backing. Whether you have a few Intel i7's or a ATI Radeon 5790 GPU, you can share in mining profitability.

More Information

Internet currency for widespread adoption

    Long-term GPU and ASIC protection
    Ultra-fast confirmations
    Long-term energy efficiency (PoS mining)
    CPU-only proof-of-work mining
Secure and robust (based on NVC)

Should change to: Once CPU-only, now hijacked by GPU miners. Come back in August.

From my opinion, I don't think there will be a sane algorithm is CPU-friendly-only. For YAC, GPU can always beat CPU at the same level of power consumption & price as long as there's a good implementation.

I just updated my yacoin charts:
http://cryptometer.org/yacoin_90_day_charts.html
Block generation is only moving slightly higher than the target rate and difficulty is not going up much.  Looks like this GPU miner is not having a significant effect for now.

Some advices, script settings for 7950 ?

I‚m currently using:

cgminer --scrypt --worksize 128 -I 11 -o http://yac.coinmine.pl:8088 -u xxx -p xxx --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500 --thread-concurrency 12288 -g 2 -Q 0 -s 1 -E 5 --auto-fan --temp-target 73

pool not providing work enough when I put -Q 0 -s 1 -E 5  in the script ?  or I‚m getting too many rejects othervise.. pool problem or GPU stings problem ?

It's great to see YAC fit the targets so well after all this time. No trace of other coin's problems in that regard.

Check file ADL_SDK/readme.txt. You need to copy some files there.

Works here, running at 1100/1500 at intensity 12. Do you have all the required libraries and headers (ADL_SDK) before compiling?

hanzac is right, transaction fees on multiple small transactions are brutal.

Has anyone tried solo mining?  When i try it just keeps saying "found block for pool 0" continuously but I don't get any payments.
