i used that, and something like that

card is GT645M,i can't used it,help

i'm chinese ,had bad english,sorry

get an ATI card, end of story.. don't know why you are even wasting your time trying to mine with nvidia. you'd honestly be better off purchasing YAC instead of mining it.

I noticed that my temperatures when mining yac are much lower than my temps when mining other scrypt coins which makes me believe that electricity usage is lower. Has anyone measured their power usage and found a difference?

I noticed the same thing, must be the lower intensity...if temps are lower, consumption must be lower too...unless ambient temps changed or fan speed.

I have, it's definitely less power usage for YAC, even at intensity 15, where as on other coins I use intensity 13.  I don't remember the exact numbers, but I can test it later today and post back.  Smiley

Surely less power consuming and therefore the heat is lower..  cannot measure, but subjective feeling, and also the fan speed is lower under same circumstances (room temp. air flow..)

That's about the same. I am using 4 x 7970 setup. The temp is close to mining ltc. I guess the power consumption is similar too.

Currently running 5 7950s, 1 7870 xt(measly 160 khash with yac but does 425 on less then 100 watts for ltc) and 1 7970. Ordering 4 more cards tomorrow but I'm on fence as to which I should go with. The 7970 I have is fairly cheap right now but I havent been able to get much over 600 kh and it's fairly unstable compared to my 7950s that can do 650 with mild oc and 725 with heavy oc. Gonna overnight whatever I decide so hopefully will have 2 or 3 more on yac before it dies off completely.

I was wondering if a 6gb card would enable future yacing? if that was the case I think it would be worth it to those who were capable of continuing to mine yac considering the diff will drop greatly when gpu's exit the scene.

good point. I was thinking to this point, can we use the crossfire cable to achieve sharing of memory among the GPUs. If it's possible, can give us a few more months to GPU mine yacoin. Smiley
Any expert opinions?
