Any idea Why my radeon 7970 hashing so poor guys? Its not even 100 khash/s, is it normal? (Windows 7, latest amd drivers, yacminer mikaelh's latest compile)

yacminer --scrypt -w 128 --lookup-gap 2 -I 17 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 1 (I tried few settings, didnt work either)

I use these setting with the V7 CL:

yacminer --scrypt -w 256 --gpu-threads 2 --auto-gpu --expiry 1 --shaders 2048 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --intensity 12 --worksize 256 --gpu-engine 900-1100 --gpu-memclock 1500

Getting about 265 kh/s per GPU

Tried your settings but its same. My miner actually shows hashing speed around 270 khash/s but there on the pool (any pool) i dont see my hash rates going up more than 100 khash/s.... Cry Cry Cry

pools almost never show an accurate hashrate.  If your miner is showing a hashrate and you don't have a lot of HW errors or rejects, you're hashing at the speed it's saying...

Guys,

I am still looking for best settings for my 5870 and 5850. Currently i use following:

yacminer -o yacp.coinmine.pl:9088 -u feeleep.1 -p x --scrypt --no-submit-stale --auto-fan --temp-target 70 -s 5 --expiry 5 --gpu-engine 785 800 --gpu-memclock 1050 1000 -I 15 16 -w 64 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8000 -g 1

and on both cards I've got almost the same:

 GPU 0:  65.0C 2449RPM | 130.7K/128.4Kh/s
 GPU 1:  67.5C 2602RPM | 129.4K/129.0Kh/s

additionally when i increase engine clock on 5870 hashrate drops...

any advise?

hey feeleep, I'm not sure about the 5XXX cards, but on my 7950 I found that having a lower TC allowed me to up the I to 18-20 without errors.  Don't forget to add --powertune 20 too

N changed. My hash rate halved of course. 210 down to 105 on my 7870LE. Like last time I am getting hw errors. Any1 else? Seems like an update is due.

may need to increase concurrency for the larger RAM size

Are you getting a decent hashrate at 10?

Increase TC and it should work again without HW errors.
I moved from 21000 to 24000 on my 7870LE and all is well. 105khash.

Yeah, that should work, but can't get over 18368 cause of my system memory being 2gb.
Gotta wait till the new 2x2gb sticks get here. (ordered two ddr2 sticks fdrom China)

Thanks for the input! I miss mining YAC Sad
