As what we can see by now, cryptocurrency is starting to make its name and has the ability to be successful. Though there are many probabilities that it will fail, I still believe that it will be a success in no time. What do you think about it ?

bitcoin is, cryptocurrency in general not that much.
there are still so many who don't even know about altcoins. they hear bitcoin's name in passing and most of them don't pay more attention to it and those who do will only know bitcoin not all cryptocurrency. that is why altcoins never succeed in the long term, it is because nobody knows about them and those who do, only care about trading them to make more bitcoin.
as for the technology goes, many are using blockchain technology to create cryptocurrencies of their own but they would be centralized and because of that nobody cares about them either.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, so why the others cryptocurrencies can't have a success like Bitcoin?
Ethereum is a good alternative of bitcoin, and in the past time he has earned more success

Cryptocurrencies are not only BTC. The altcoins also are cryptos, but get so less value from people, because most don't just hold Altcoins, like they hold BTC. They rather trade them and make buy more BTC, to hold and benefit from the growing behaviour it is showing.
Now for BTC, as it is the real thing, the future promises, and I believe that many people who don't know about it yet, will also use it in the future!

I believe bitcoin will be on the rise and other Crypotocurrency might have a hard time trying to keep up with them. Since Bitcoin is known and has its high value other crypotocurrency can rise high too but not as much as bitcoin.

i think its only for bitcoin because people out there is only know bitcoin which in crypto currency and they don't think that other coins in crypto currency is exist too. but soon after they learn more about bitcoin, they will know altcoin and they will use altcoin too like us and i think the altcoin will be boom too like bitcoin. and with the altcoin, they can be able to earn money too like they do with bitcoin and soon they will realize that altcoin can bring something new to them. |

It's pretty much the method of making money that has the Government bothered. A lot of people can make money through Bitcoin though they will die eventually while being ignorant. |

We need to spread the bitcoin everywhere to use the bitcoin all the time in any location. Since we does not take the bitcoin every one there should be less number of people in the world. Usage of altcoins will be reduced in future too dude. You may see the people invest in ICO and altcoin but the profit very cheap than the bitcoin investors. |

No, I don't think it will fail. It's a long time since it was created, so I think that with tech progress it just can become more powerful. |

Of course why not. A biggest "YES" for this thread and opinion. If i would aware about bitcoin value , I would surly buy 1000 or 20000 bitcoins in 2010. I heard at that time the price of 1 bitcoins was something 0.17$. Those people who invest with bitcoin in 2009 they're richest enough.I wish i go back to past but its not possible. |

Naa absolutely not. It will still take a hell lot of time to even make cyrpto available to around 20% of the world population. Only when this much people are connected to bitcoin. Then we can actually say that crypto has begin to march towards road of success but there are going to be many obstacles out of which government intervention is going to be the toughest to deal with. Lets see what happens. |

There are many unknown altcoins to people.Many know only BTC but still there are many more cryptocurrencies available which can be popular within few time such as ethrem which became leading cryptocurrency of south africa leaving behind BTC. If we notice past changes in digital currency we will see a huge growth in digital currencies. |

Yep it will definitely won't fail as bitcoins has survived many forks and drops and as long as people believe and invest in bitcoins, bitcoins will not fail.Crypto currencies are slowly gaining more and more popularity especially bitcoins and as demands of bitcoins increase its prices will also increase like anything and other coins will also come into light but some coins would suffer and might even end.

I would like to disagree, contrary to popular belief of people from Bitcointalk - we are not living is a bitcoin-friendly world.
When I talk to people about bitcoin I hear so many misconceptions, biased opinions or blatant lies about cryptocurrency that I assume that it would take a lot of time to change the mindset of society.
For now, we are still early adopters, a minority - booming phase will be next step of bitcoin adoption, but it is hard to say when it will happen.

The overall market will boom in the next 5-10 years only question is to what degree and how much money flows in. I think people can all agree now that bitcoin is here to stay most likely and it will be industry leader. What
we dont know is how altcoins will function in the future and whether or not they will be of any use beyond speculation in 5 years time.

Forks slow bitcoins rise but I am sure it will go up in no time. It is getting bunch of attention from investors and I am sure that the market will have an increase in demand which will be profit for those short investor. Less supply more demand and value. I just hope that they will stop the banning of btc in their country so that many people will experience the benefits of bitcoin.
