i have no idea what this word means or where you are taking it from but "bitcoin" itself is not hack-able. the way private keys are (a random number in an unbelievably huge range), and how the hashing to get the public keys and bitcoin address (ECDSA and SHA256 which are irreversible) makes it un-hack-able!

your wallet is hack-able though. if you are not careful, use a weak password or have a compromised machine that you use for your wallet.

ps. more than 8 years of being around and not being hacked even once should answer your question though!

if you want to secured your bitcoin or any account from online put an hard security password and for your bitcoin wallet strong privatekeys to avoid risk do not put your bitcoin into one wallet spread your bitcoin in multiful wallet for the security purposes.

For me I think the wallet you use can get hacked If you are not using enough security features, but it is really hard or maybe impossible to hack Bitcoin private key.
If you are using online wallet use strong password and enable 2fa and all the security features to increase your security.

Ask that question of the 1,000's of people who have lost 10's of millions of USD, think mt-gox or ethereum faux wallets

There are many elements of hacking BTC,

1.) fake web sites that look real, which harvest private keys ( most common easy way to make $5 Million USD in one afternoon )

2.) mt-gox type infiltratin of exchanges where private-keys are held, another easy way for 'hackers' to gain access to millions quickly

3.) the mother of all of course is breaking the sha-256 hash, "Google Brain-Flayer", its been done, but that gig is over, there are many advanced NSA tricks for breaking ECDSA, which is how FBI can any time it wants get the private key for any address ( think silk road BTC auction )

4.) the theory of experts is that NSA created BTC to wait and see when the PUBLIC would/could break SHA-256, I speculate it will be broken by public within 2-3 years, before that GOV will send out a policy statement and tell all GOV to use SHA-512; banks will be kept on easy to hack stuff forever, and they'll keep public on SHA-256 as long as they wish

5.) Hello. What do you mean by hacking Bitcoin? It's private keys? It's posible for private keys to be hacked but, some researches here check how long it would take to brute force a private key they said ("It would take 21Million years for a single private key to be hacked.")

Even bank can hack off course bitcoin can also hack in our generation many people or many programmer/developer can hack any website even banks can they hack if they want. Yes, it is hackable but for that person who is able to download the full list from directory.io and search for addresses in that list. Although, it is not yet feasible to download as it requires such a huge database that no one can have on this Earth. It means bitcoin is unhackable for a human at least, keeping aliens out of this as we don't know their limits.

This is a way that no one hacks your account , there are still plenty ways to bypass this security but what if the sites database is itself compromised your 2FA won't help you in any way.

The only solution to not lose any of your bitcoins is storing it on a offline pc or using a hardware wallet.

51% attack does NOT allow anyone to gain access to addresses to private keys that they don't own. It can only prevent transactions from confirming or "reverse" them by double spending it. It isn't a risk to user's Bitcoins.
Bitcoin can't be hacked, unless you find a 0 day vulnerability. Even then, the changes could be reversed easily. The only viable way for private keys to be compromised is when ECDSA gets cracked. That will only give you a chance to crack an address with previous transactions being sent from the address.
