I am not sure the bitcoin is hackable or not but people can send a virus to your system and they can change your bitcoin address while pasting your address in any transaction. this happens to me.

Bitcoin can be hackable, almost all in the internet can be hack but it need a specific knowledge to be able to hack it. It will be hard because every wallet can generate random keys so it is hard for them to hack it but it is still possible to hack it. Probably, the government hackers can do it, but they just don't because it is illegal. It will take time but the possibility is there.

Everything in this world can be hacked, as long as it has ability and knowledge about it. Same with bitcoin, because it's virtual where everyone can access internet. Requiring special skills and advanced tools may support it for hacking btc.

Now everyone is investing heavily on Bitcoin. But can anyone hack this Bitakayena? If Bitcoin means hacks, then there will be a lot of damage. Where is Bitcoin's hidden security?
Are you using a local dictionary as you type this question? Bitakayena or bitcoin? Well whatever it is, bitcoin can't be hack but the storage or the wallet that you use can be hacked. If the wallet you use is poor in security then you are at risk, actually all of us at risk because  this is their job to hack. But the blockchain technology itself, it has a strong security that hackers can't hack for now I guess.

Bitcoin is hackable. so is every other system relevant to cybersecurity.

Bitcoin is not as hackable as others bcause of it decentralization. where if any target on the bitcoin network is hacked the damage that can be caused will be limited. decentralization provides compartmentalization of risk.

we have seen many attacks on bitcoin but these are all social engineering and political attacks. and attacks on centralized organizations that use bitcoin but operate outside of the network.

Cyber warfare is one of many strong incentives to transition from traditional organization into a world of decentralized ecosystems made possible by cryptocurrency.

Bitcoins can't be added to your account like in bank. You would have to modify all the nodes somehow. The only possibility is a majority of hashrate. It is called a 51% attack. It is possible, however it is too expensive to perform so it's not worth it. Bitcoin is safe in general, especially if you have control over your private keys (software or hardware wallet).

Everything on the internet is hackable, but the question is , will it be easy, I am sure bitcoin should be hackable but wont be that easy.. Minor hacks like targeting a person and stealing his private keys should be the easiest but hacking the network .. thats a story for another time
What you see on the internet could is different than what you see in the inside because when the hackers is doing their dirty works, it's not that easy if you think so. There were some guides and pattern that they had to follow first in order for them get the hack done successfully. And that's why bitcoin cannot be easily hack from you if you are too wise than those hackers. Best counter for these hackers is you better hide your private keys or write it on a piece of paper then hide it where you wouldn't forget it. Once you forget it it's all goodbye for no good.  Grin

Everything is potentially hackable but at what cost. To hack a bitcoin transaction, one need to own 51% of the mining power. To hack the private key, you need probably quantum computer, but it's easy to hack people's login, email, thus phishing their exchange logins to steal the coins..., human are the weakest link not bitcoin.

Yes, I do believe that bitcoin can be hack, as we can see there weee lots of issue here that they lost the butcoin because someone hacks their account, so in world wide web everything can be manipulated by anyone with a great skill on technology. But since bitcoin has the large feature of security then it lessen and minimize those shit hackers to enter the system at all.

Bitcoin can't be hack by anyone because it is fully secured and we have a unique keys that can make hackers to hardly crack it down. Maybe it just happen because of our own carelessness and we exposed our password and let other people using it.

Bitcoins encryption is estimated to be fine until 2030 at that point it will be changed to a more secure encryption. Bitcoins encryption is safe it's the users end of password which is hackable.

thats called a malware, when you copy your correct wallet address but if you paste it it will turn into a new addres and i see that this problem is happening lately due to the attempt of stealing someones bitcoin. so i sugguest that you must double check any of your wallet addres before and after you paste it because we are not safe these days and hackers, virues and malwares are anywhere as long as we are connected to the internet.

I think all the thing which is use an internet are hackable, but to hack bitcoin is not that easy, the only way to avoid the hack for example to your account is just hide your email. I think that was the only way protect your account. Just pretend that no one will do those bad thing.

Some believe that the NSA will eventually hack bitcoin

SHA256 is NSA

NSA never released a crypto that they didn't own the back-door, never nada, never has happened in their history.

BITCOIN is SHA256, ergo BITCOIN is NSA

"Google is NSA" - PUTIN

NSA is just watching and waiting to learn 'when' it becomes "PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE" how to crack SHA-256.

The favorite theory out there is that BTC was created as a financial incentive to crack SHA-256, its been what 8 years, but the financial incentive is there, 100's of BIllion's of USD.

If I was running BTC-ORG I would have bumped BTC to SHA-512, or SHA-1024 a long time ago, and that CRYPTO will not be broken for many years to come.
