It's never too late. If you knew it was too late, then you would know where the top is. People have been claiming Bitcoin was overvalued for ages, thinking it was "too late to get rich with bitcoin" at pries as low as $15. Case in point, this post right here is pretty hilarious in retrospect:

He applies exactly the same analysis as people do now. "It's too late, big news are already in" etc.

it's not too late for us to buy it right now and i believe with the time it will be used and implemented,
just like a few years ago when i heard about it,
for the start it's like a joke because for something that do not have any physical form it cost a lot,
but after i learned about it and figure it out what exactly it is,
i understand that it's a discovery and if everything is well and nothing goes wrong it will be the future.
people will do something and a new discovery will be discovered in our technology, there will be a time when people start to play or do something in virtual and people use a digital currency to pay their bills or something.
it's my dream actually  Cheesy

There will always be times when we have missed it, but that does not mean that it is now too late to start. Buying bitcoin today for $ 5800 you can in the next year to sell it for $ 10,000. Do you think it is less profitable than buying bitcoin for $ 10 and sell it for $ 32? Every age has its advantages. The main thing is not to miss an opportunity because you can always be left out.

It´s not too late. If you think of disruptive new stuff that came along, they are eventually passed by others but it is not easy. BTC have its flaws but it was so groundbreaking that for some coin to take it´s place it cannot be only slightly better, it has to be disruptive again. So BTC is still very new and most of us, even the latest arrivals will steal be seen as early adopters of crypto currency. So to see BTC at a 10k level is almost inevitable, and even higher depending on other projects that come along.

I dont believe that it is too late to buy BTC now. I think it's price will keep growing until all the BTC are mined. There might also happen times where BTC could lose value due to some issue, but it will recover, as it has been recovering till now. Even if you dont buy a whole BTC, you could start buying part of BTC, let's say 0.1BTC and grow up. You will still reap its fruits I believe!

Could be right. If crypto really gains a foothold in society prices will soar even higher, so investing now might still not be too late. My impression is that many people think crypto has grown into a prominent phenomenom nowadays in the financial world; in reality it still is nothing more than a bothersome fly for the 'old' and established financial world. This sounds negative, but it means there's still an enormous room for growth.

The price back then was based on a system with less users, no asics, no ATMs, no bigger backers, minimal dodgy exchanges, risk of hacking since it was new technology not tried and test.  Its a different investment now, cant compare the 2.

It's never too late. This time it's different since there's a large influx of new users, new investors, new companies willing to accept bitcoin and lots of new things that weren't present back in 2011. Also, bitcoin is still in its infancy even after many changes in the source code. We are yet to see even crazier roller coasters once big players join the party.

If you believe bitcoin won't suddenly collapse within a year or so then it is not too late yet. You don't have to go all in, just buy what you can afford to lose. And then proceed from there and feel the market.

Probably never too late to invest in bitcoin if you think it has value and will go up. I remember a similar post in July of this year when bitcoin was ~3k usd they were asking is this too high or too expensive to buy in? I think

will no if you think it will rise just depends on your capital then how much you make in the end. Now look btc is near ~6k and by this time next year may be ~10k. It is not too late to buy in but the amount of your return will

now be way less than it previously could have been. As long as you are alright with this then you will be okay.

Yes you are right in 2009 it was more cheap than that of 2011, but one thing I want to tell you that it is not too late because the price is still approachable and after some time low income people will not be able to buy even a single bitcoin. Therefore I suggest you If you have some money you should buy bitcoin today.

The price is growing more and more and I am sure that it will hit the figure of 10000 dollars in the morning few years, because of the huge investment of the people in bitcoin.

It is probably not too late to get rich with bitcoin. I am sure that in the future, someone would have had wished to buy bitcoin in this time if it were to go mainstream. Even if it ain't, I am sure some people will look back at this point of time when adoption is still growing massively. It will happen when bitcoin reaches the point that it became the digital gold itself, being another asset to store value into and with volatility lessened.

As the op said, some one in future would say in surprise that bitcoin price was very cheap in 2017.Even they would regret for not buying bitcoins at that time.

Bitcoin price is steadily rising and its predicted price is very high in future.Bitcoin has just crossed its initial eight years.Bitcoin price may seem to be so high. But when considering its true potential to reach high price, its present price is just a moderate price.

Thanks to satoshi,he has created bitcoin divisible in to eight decimals. So,people could even buy just 0.01 btc as their future savings.

It's not yet too late to buy it because it is still affordable to reach and buy 1 btc for thousand bucks but sooner or later it will reach a state that an ordinary people cannot but like 10k - 20k price range that is difficult when the btc reaches that prices in the near time. so for now we have to buy it before it is too late. We've done the mistake of not believing to it and reject it while the price is super cheap that a child can buy a one or two.

I understand the frustration of OP that it is now not possible to buy bitcoin at this price. But regret the past is stupid. You better think about that in that time people sold a few bitcoins and earning them was a few dollars. This year, those who had 1 bitcoin in the beginning of the year and sold it today earned $ 5,000. I think that people from the past would be you.

I agree with you, it is not too late to do a investment for bitcoin. If you are smart you invest now, because experts are saying that bitcoin will go to 50k in the future.

This looks logical because bitcoin is unstable so this is possible. This is also why i have done my investment.

I think I had read a thread about this one to other members and many more threads that has the same topic on the forum sections. Well, not to be negative also by the topic but mate, buying bitcoin right now isn't too late to buy bitcoin because as John McAfee said it could even reached to a half a million dollar and Fundstrat Tom Lee has a prediction that it could even turn to $25k by the year 2022 using Metcalfe's Law they suggested. So, make up your mind and have that positive thinking that it will be.

Why isn't it possible? Just invest what you would of invested anyway. Sure you aren't going to get one Bitcoin for $30 anymore, but investing $30 now might net you a profit further down the line. If what a few are predicting turns out to be correct you could earn more than triple that amount. Invest what you can afford it wasn't too late a year ago and it isn't too late now.
