Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Where did everybody go? 8 nodes left out of 75  Huh
https://cryptoservices.net/en/nodes-yenten

Hello, sorry i limited to 8 the time to sync my explorer.

My full node will come back in few days (once my explorer is fully loaded to my database and/or when i found few pennys to rent a second vps)

cheers.

at this time it's possible to see transactions and block by adding them in links:

eg:
https://cryptoservices.net/en/ytn-explorer?blocknum=40609
https://cryptoservices.net/en/ytn-explorer?tx=06f791016d08632c43b8566f7dfb7082c587a74215a6828fbbcde8423f55408c

and top 1000 richlist at https://cryptoservices.net/en/ytn-explorer?richlist (currently loading blocks transactions)

i will work more to finish my explorer when i have a little time, i think in 3/4 days;

wow nice listing, btw im 500 if i didnt sell some coin maybe in 300 top richlist Wink

it's nutty. there are no sell orders anymore. there's one for $150 at 380 sat, but that would put yenten at 5.6 cents. and no one except for paul has enough to clear out buy orders.

i can see where this is going:
1. price rises
2. hashrates triple
3. those big new miners dump their new coins
4. price & hashrate drops
5. repeat for next 2 months

but the end result is the same each time: small miners who have a single PC will continue to mine and hodl throughout the volatility, and distribution will be pretty fair. the little guy is like the tortoise who beats the hare. frankly i don't care what happens from here on out as long as price doesn't drop below 80 sat again.

For those of you paying attention: we are on #4 of the cycle. And since we've been quietly expanding to 10 pools with more wallet holders than ever, I will be happy to see us return to #1.

SSE2 seems better even if CPU gets more hot. I can see more accepted shares. How can I limit thread to 6 (from Cool with cpuminer-opt-3.7.7?

I am mining is official pool. When should I see first payment? How many YTN?

You should see payment on the website of the pool. In wallet paste your yenten address . When you open your wallet on your computer you should see yenten arrive.
