Wallet 2.0.1 seems buggy. I have Win-7-64.
1.) I remove all yenten data from AppData\Roaming
2.) I start yenten-qt.exe 2.0.1 64-bit. It is stuck on "Connecting to peers...". I close the wallet (succesfully, unlike the situations below).
3.) I unzip https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/releases/tag/2.0.1_block_data to AppData\Roaming\Yenten
4.) I start yenten-qt.exe and it is stuck on "Loading block index from disk"

If I use the blockchain data from 1.3.1 wallet the 2.0.1 wallet is stucking on "Loading block index from disk" again. If I restore 1.3.1 wallet which works and replace exe-s then I get stuck on "Loading block index from disk" once more. If I try to close the stucked wallet then the new stuck on "Yenten core is shutting down". Ctrl-Alt-Del and the task manager is the only way to kill the stucked wallet.

My wallet is stuck as well.  I have 8 connections to the network however it says the last block found was from last fall and it is "still loading" but nothing is happening. I'm not in front of the machine with the wallet otherwise I'd post the screen error, but like you, it's stuck.

for me, using 1.3.1 better than 2.0.1 because less bug and fast sync
