How do you make money if bitcoin/altcoin prices keep falling?

This is rather complex to address. But in falling prices and being rather inexperienced i try to hold as much as i can so i don´t end up being the guy that gives the good traders all the money. So what i try to do is i look at my stash of tradable bags and choose one or two coins at a time and try to sell and rebuy lower. that way i lower the price per coin of that particular bag so the recovery will eventually come sooner.

holding is the best way to earn or maybe buying it anh hold for a long term .because falling down of price is not permanent falling down of price is an opportunity to earn in the next rising of its price .maybe somebody has panic on this situation but in my openion it is almost the  same thing happend every now and then in the crypto field it is alway up and  down movement and it is not an end falling of price is the opportunity to gain.

I don't know much about stocks but i know that in stocks if you think certain stocks will fall, you can short them and make money.  However with bitcoin/altcoin, can you short or is that not possible?  Also isn't it true shorting is very dangerous because you can lose a lot more shorting than investing in bitcoin/altcoin?


I know when prices drop, that is when you want to buy because you want to buy low and sell high.  So what would be the strategy if bitcoin/altcoin stays the same or keeps dropping etc?  Thus its all red and stays that way?  Of course you could buy... then wait till it goes back up and sell to make profit.  But you don't know how long that would that or it could possibly not and keep going down etc.  I understand that if you want to daytrade, well you buy it at certain price then sell at certain price to lock in profit.  Thus if prices go higher and you bought earlier, you will make profit if you sell.  But besides buying the coin at low prices, you aren't making any money at the moment. 


So what do daytraders do then?  Thus daytraders are on the computer looking at the markets all the time etc.  So if everything keeps going down, how do they make money?  If prices keep dropping for a long time, then there is no money to be made right?  Or is there?  Because what do daytraders do if the market prices keep going down etc?  Sure you can buy a lot of coins at cheap prices but you don't know how long it would take to go back up etc. 

Well what you can do is to diversify whatever funds you have so you have multiple sources of income.

In cases whereby prices keep falling, the only certain way to earn even just for a little is through advertising. Although yes, its value will also not be much because of the weak prices. But 1 is always better than nothing at all especially in this business.

Another way to earn, albeit futuristic, is to hold whatever Bitcoin you have. Anticipate and be patient with the process. Sooner or later the prices will soar high again thereby recovering your losses.

When prices are falling it is often best to try and sell your coins in anticipation of further price falls and then buy back more coins than you originally had at a lower price. This is of course only if you assume that the price will increase in the future.

You can't earn at that time but you can earn next time, it is when the price of bitcoin or alts is falling. You can have your best opportunity to buy some good and potential coins when it's falling that will be the right time to buy. Then sell it when it is already at high price.

As per my experience, it never happens if  both Bitcoins and Altcoins prices crashes at the same time. If this happen it means there is something seriously wrong on crytocucrrecny. Normally if the bitcoins crashes, Altcoin prices rises and when bitcoin rises, all the altcoins prices crashed.

If the fall is around 10 - 20% i usually cut my losses. But if the loss is approaching say 30 - 50%, i do not sell instead i found a way to buy more even if i don't have money i make sure i get raised! I believe my consistency should pay off very soon

The strategy you have mentioned of staying consistent really works in case of bitcoin but I won’t recommend it for altcoins. There are many cases of altcoins which dumped for few weeks and then never reached their previous values.

If an altcoin if dropping in value more than 30%, it is an indicator of getting rid of that coin as soon as possible rather than buying more of it.

Yea you are right this happen to many times I buy coins and buy after some fall but they never rise again its very risky to have chance with altcoins if you want then try with some good and reputable coins which have worth otherwise most chances we have to lost our money with no recovery option available

In day trading you need to spend your time in front of computer as you need to monitor the movement of the market and close the transaction within the day before market ends. As such, since bitcoin is not regulated, i dont think day trading is applicable here because we can trade anytime. We just need to face risk if we will buy during dumps and wait for the time when price pump again.

If you believe much on the saying “everything that goes up will go down” then your right. But in bitcoin “when it goes down it will soon go up” that should be the thinking of one investors or traders. Not in all cryptocurrency but it only presence in bitcoin as it is the main coin from the beginning.

Don’t sell when it’s falling but rather on the peak price. Buy when the price is in dip for any dollars you are ready to loss. Because risk is available to any investments and bitcoin is no exception. It’s repeating process and experience will make you be an expert to it.

Depend the way I choose, different way not the same strategy. If trade I should cut loss and replace it become currency. But if investment I'll keep hold and try buy again, that's way money management is really needed here. Most people will not agree with I do, but until now is works for me. If i have a lot of money, i will just grab the opportunity to buy all alt-coins at low price, Because whatever the status of the coin, there are still possible to goes up, This is already proven in the previous days, And im willing to invest for it as long my money could cater all of my desired coins. Seems risky but if you don't fight the risk then no more chance to earn high profit,

Yes, I will continue to make money from Bitcoin, Altcoin if the price continues to fall, this does not affect much of my work.
But if in trading, you will play margin, this is very good but also very risky when you play uncontrollably

For me, I will continue to make money from my job, if the bitcoin /altcoin are already falling.. depends the value of coins. If it is became low then some of the days becames high. But still I'm on making money from bitcoin and altcoin day by days.
