Honestly I cannot say that I know the reason for the price increase but I would avoid buying it right now unless you discover some extraordinary reason for the price increase. It is said you should always buy low and sell high and right now bitcoin cash seems to be high.

No. This is the last flame before being a definitely burnt coin, after the segwit2x fork no-one will support altcoin cash.

If you didn't before, my suggestion is dump all the remaining coins now.

there are different theories.
some say it is done to take the hashrate from bitcoin to bitcoin cash and then cause some delays in bitcoin chain in order to push for SegWit2x fork.
i say it may be true.
also the fact that market was ready for a BCH pump means people were watching it to jump on board. that lone means a nice pump for any altcoin.

a better decision was to speculate about this sooner and buy when price was still low. now you would be buying into the pump. although since pump is not over yet and there is more rise to come, it can be a good investment.

It is unwise to invest in bitcoin cash right now. I don't know why bitcoin cash is raising so much but investing on it right now is a very risky investment. The probability of it being manipulated is very high, therefore, the chance of it being dumped soon is higher than the probability of it going up more. The wisest decision for now is to take advantage of the rise, sell some bitcoin cash you have if you have hold it. It is better than selling at a lower price later.

I bet that the Bitcoin Cash's rise is purely a pump and dump scheme of some rich guys to get some quick profit out of it. The pump has already started, so it's very risky to buy into it now. But if you have any remaining BCH coins, I would sell them now... it might be the last chance to get rid of them at higher price.
In long term, I think that investing in Bitcoin Cash is not a good idea as the coin will probably just slowly die over time... there's no real reason why it should exist and I consider it to a purely speculative asset with no future.

I have just sold all my BCH before the price falls back again. As you say, BCH does not really have a future (same for bitcoingold). The price rise we see now and we have seen in the past are just pump and dumps, there is no real reason/logic why the price is rising.

             I think you got a point my friend, and for if you are just buying it because you feel like its going to skyrocket because of the current movement, there is also a big tendency that you will lose big when it will begin to drop prices so it is better for now to think carefully, or if you are willing to risk then why not.

I actually don't know why it is raising now. My friend has now some coins so he is lucky that its worth something. I told him to save it for few years and sell it when it is worth a lot.

The difficulty adjustment  hardfork already delayed imo but you can try to see the more update on the crypto related site. It seems a lot of people are talking about the bitcoin cash right now. as the bitcoin cash become the second trending topic after the bitcoin.
This time is not a good time to invest in the bitcoin cash because you are missing the train and the bitcoin cash already gone to the moon.
