What scares them the most?

I have heard some friend say to me that bitcoin is air money which simply means (according to my friends definition) that bitcoin is not existing. He believe s everything about bitcoin is made up.

I think it's quite common for the normal people refuse to accept a new thing, especially when you need invest some money on it. And for the cryptocurrencies, you don't even see something in material.

What are some of the reasons you've heard from people as to why they're afraid of cryptos?

It isnt real and doesnt exist. When people cant understand something they actively look to poke holes in whatever that is and I think this is a common reaction to cryptos. It isnt necessary of course and if people thought about it longer than a minute some stuff might actually stick. But alas we live in the world of instant gratification and I think this is another reason people are afraid or unwilling to learn about cryptos.

There are often SCAMs or hackers who want to get money from us. Often, by failing to secure their wallets, they succeed. Remember who you trust and be careful.

What scares people the most is the chance of losing their money. It's the reason they do not buy stocks. Yet they spend all their money on silly things and wonder why they always don't have enough.
The second thing what scares them is not knowing enough about the technology, buying the coins is a hassle for most people. Downloading a wallet is hard enough for most of them and the usability has to be improved by a lot for it to succeed in the future.
