I think all airdrops have a chance, if the community would be real but the way the airdrops get a community following is only because of a compensation which acts kinda like advertising so this makes artificial support, once everyone dumped the airdrops no one cares about the community which sucks.

It can be difficult to determine the good coins from the novelty coins or pump and dump coins. One good measure is identifying how much effort the developer(s) have put into the project. Does it have website, white paper, road map, social media pages etc.

5.37 thats a lot! what airdrop gave you the most? I made about 0.8 eth in the last 3 weeks and joined every airdrop I could.

I sign up for a lot of airdrops, and IMO, Deep Onion, PoSToken, and maybe Xenon are the only ones that have a future.  Hoping for more good ones, though.

Most of the airdropped coins are short term holdings. Especially all those e scam tokens. Have a look at the charts. One big rise and then -> dead. Mostly dev disappears and coin dies. There are not many fully airdropped coins out there which succeeded. Decred and Byteball are my favourite holdings so far. But I flipped 99% of the drops in the last weeks for quick bucks.

Mostly are just pump and dump token, then it will be scam at the end

But for now I am holding my Ethereum Blue (BLUE) from airdrop and bought some more, which not only pump and dump token with no value, it is a real project to detect malicious smart contract with scam possibility, even the WP is available

I have sign up a lot of airdrop ive seen here. And now got the iEth and the BtcRed token that have the potential. The IEth base from its twitter. It is already on the voting list. And When it become available already in the Mercatox, its  price will definitely goes up. While the BtcRed, ive been watching is price and Its Constantly moving up.

I saw this "LOGARITHM Airdrop" airdrop today, they Claim to give you free 555 $LGR tokens, but they say that the amount will only be credited in Jan 2018..

The best one for me has been POStoken. Received two airdrops from it. Yesterday I received 10000 PIGGY tokens. Checked price on etherdelta. Worth a mindblowing 3 cents in total.

I have got nearly 25 K eLTC from one of airdrops, and it was worth nearly 500 usd, but i thought that it will increase and hodl the shit. Now all my 500 usd is only 5 usd, I regret that i did not sell them.

Maybe you should just get the coins and forget about them for a while. That way, you can have some surprises a few years from now (but most of them will be disappointing, that's for sure).

what i generally do is just sign up for every airdrop i can .Who knows you might check your wallet in a year or 2 and find one of then is worth big money.How long it take to sign up a few minutes

Usually I'm  not risking with all those speculations and dont take part in airdrops (basicaly I'm just saving my time) but if you take a look on shitcoin (most of the airdropped coins can be concidered as shitcoins) charts on coinmarketcap then you may notice that usually they are going up right at the begining of the chart (thats when they are launched and the whole marketing campaign is performed) and then they are going down. So HODL is usualy not the best strategy.
