I now have a reason to buy a video camera Cheesy if this software is real I'm going to immediately buy it I suspect just so I can have an easy time putting in all sorts of animations to some human models, these guys have probably made 3D animators obselete at least for the main stuff, I might actually email them and ask how much it costs.

I figured it was only a matter of time. Now we begin the era of video credibility being called into question in court rooms.

The more powerful video editing and falsification will be, the more fraudulent claims (google for police planted DNA etc) there will be.

It could be fake. I'm not sure how it knows what shape the skeleton is in when it's out of sight.

Might be. Just a bit of work in video editing and that's enough to look too good to be true.

Just showed it to my 3D designer and he said it is "obvious bullshit made in Bones for 3D max". I wonder if their release trailer is just fluffed and they actually do have something cool in the works, or if it's just complete vaporware/scam/public prank? http://www.thecaptury.com/

It could be just rubbish, don't get me wrong, this type of thing does sometimes turn out to be a con or severely overhyped, but motion is motion, if someone can get a computer to track a guy moving around with a suit and some spheres stuck to him from a camera this seems like the next step to me, that pencil 2D Animation software for instance has come out and that's easily going to eliminate half an animation studio just because you can directly draw frames in a computer without any cocking around with other software.

Lol.  Cheesy . Guess it's a scam or a well performed prank.
