Well it will take a while before we can get to $10K end of the year. segwit2x is already cancelled, the price is dropping already and we may see bitcoin below $7K this coming few days. What drove the price to new ATH is the anticipation of segwit2x, but since is has postponed already, I don't think we can continue with the bull run. Correction is already taking place and it will need a lot of investors to buy bitcoin once again to push the price to $10K at the end of the year. So it seems that $10K is achievable next year 2018.

Bitcoin already is dropping below the $7k mark. Yes it is still possible for it to reach $10,000 but by the looks of it, I think it won't be reaching it by the this year.

Yes, the price is dropping significantly and we don't know what will be the floor price. Quite surprise though to see Bitcoin Cash price going up, and I don't know why traders are suddenly shifting to his coin. Maybe someone or a group of people are playing with it and pumping the price and later dump it for profit. But what a price swing today, $6B marketcap already wipe out. People are really cashing it out today. Again its almost weekend and we usually this kind of phenomena specially approaching weekends. Bitcoin now is just above $6700 and I guess it will continue to drop. But just the same, its not good to sell today, but wait till the price floor and buy it.

Your post is not completed, why you say that with out any reason. For people like us, opinion is good but reason is better. If you don't have it, same like speculation ( not helping ). I think BTC still has the same price action moving and volume ( stable ). We need more good news ( with real sources ) and wise calculation before decides to say anything. I believe wait and see until next month is better and good luck to you.

More good news would obviously cause some pretty huge one for bitcoin. I am really not expecting much of a bad news as long as we see the upcoming fork over without much issues, then we will see how the whole thing will then play out and how well it would be for the bitcoin community.

There are signs of more good news coming from wall street, top players, and so on and that alone is enough to know that in the absence of negative news, bitcoin is soaring.

Well if you're planning to hold for quite some time, yeah now would be a good time to go shopping for alts. Btc will probably continue its upward probably until the end of he year. Next year would be something to look forward to if we end past 10k this 2017

Holding for longer terms will give a lot of profit just think about those who bought bitcoin in 2013 and how much they are earning now and most probably you will also get a lot of profit and I am also doing the same thing and I know one thing that 10k mile stone will be achieved soon but I am aiming for more than 20k and that requires a bit time for that and I will hold till my desire profit will not hit the market.

In the end of this year may be. The prices are jumping like a frog. It is only the matter of two months and see the prices have increased from $3500 to $7000. Isn’t it a frog jump in just two month? Price can't keep going up, all this pump in recent months were only fueled by over speculation over fork and not by actual news/development. Looks like bitcoin will touch atleast $7.5k or even $8k before november hard fork but after than I think we will see quite big correction/dump because of profit takers.  its just another fork like those of dozens other. Gosh they are coming like every morning and night and its not good for the economic health of the blockchain itself. I mean why so many forks if they can’t get the correction done in just single way. They always try to put in some coins which becomes shit later but people still buy them and hope profits form hem.

Hopefully. As you can see, ove the weekend btc alarmingly dropped to below 6k, and is just recovering right now. Bitcoin cash wrecked havoc last week and it just might prove to be a challenger to btc

I don't think that's gonna happen, the target for the ongoing month has been reached. Now the entire focus is towards the year end price which is expected to cross $10000. Right now the cancelation of segwit2x has created an outline of a price decrease by the falling days. Such a drop won't take place.

You can’t predict with such accuracy. Yes there are some historical trends with which one can predict to some extent but that does mean you are always putting the ball in basket. Bitcoin have reached its month target but how you are so assure of it? Don’t you think it can just jump to $8000 within two upcoming days? Everything is possible and fussy in bitcoin trading.
