In my opinion, it’s a kind of a crowdfunding, if you wanna to support the project, you do it on your own’s risk
P.S. I think they don’t make a new system, they use etherium to sell tokens

Hey! The half-size model by Bartini will be presented in Q1 of 2018 and full-size will be shown in Q4 of 2018. We expect the first test flight will happen in the first half of 2018 , and the first commercial flights for tokens by 2020

Buying the flying car is no needed - you can get  the opportunity to use it for various periods. for example, you can get 3 years of usage of 2-seater Bartini for 500 000 Mcfly tokens and 700 000 for 4-seater.

Some cities have already permitted intra-city small aviation flights - like Dubai did earlier this year. Some cities are in the process of development of flight rules. We realise this requires time, but as soon as any city starts to use aero taxi, others will strive to catch up. We really hope that Stocholm will either follow the trend, or even become a leader, with sufficient supporters
