It would decrease bitcoin price, and not only if satoshi sells his bitcoins because he is not the only one who is holding large amount of bitcoins.
But look at it in positive way, if that happens bitcoin price will go down and you will be able to buy cheaper bitcoins and sell them later for higher price

I think no problem. Many people buy and keep Bitcoin so the number of Bitcoins circulating in the market is small. Moreover Bitcoin is difficult to dig, expected to by 2120, bitcoin will dig up.
You can rest assured it will not affect Bitcoin.

With the current trading volume? It will most likely not ruin the market but definitely result in having a decent decrease in price and then, it will be just a matter of time until the price goes up once again. I doubt he still have access to his coins honestly. (that's assuming he still alive)

Until now, it's not a fact that this is one person. And like any architect of the system, he (they) probably should know the fulcrum of the whole construction. By 2025-2030 he will be the richest man in the world and his secret plan does not know anybody. This makes one think his anonymity, and hence the uncertainty of intention.

It wont actually ruin bitcoin market which would lead up on destroying it. 5% on the entire supply wont really be a strong reason for it to die easily but considering on those amounts of coins on the current price will surely give some serious price decrease but not to worry because there would be still lots of whales and investors will tend to buy back and accumulate cheap bitcoins.

It will affect the price of course and may fluctuate to $3000 and if that happens some traders that are looking for this kind of chance will buy more bitcoins especially with a cheap price so there should be no problem at all there is always advantage and disadvantages when someone solds their huge coins.

There are many people having their bitcoin in the wallet likely you may find the richest wallet address in the Google results. whenever the hard fork and segwit activation happen on bitcoin. There is some set of people always buying the bitcoin using little dump. No! It's cannot ruin the market because satoshi is only a branches of bitcoin,and they are not the one holding  the bitcoins there so many platforms and there's altcoins  bitcoiner people goes into alternating coins in case the supply of bitcoin is sold out.trader's must happy to buy bitcoin in a low price and retain it until back to normal.

For sure the price of bitcoin will decrease because even 5percent of only it is a lot of bitcoin because satoshi have a lot of bitcoin.

Here's what gonna happened when he sold 5% of his stash, the price will go down and plummet because that's how the market react to a huge sell order. And maybe their would be a ensuing panic sell after that. But bitcoin will continue to live and will not be ruin because when the price goes down, investors love to get back bitcoin at a discounted price. The price crash will only be temporary.

Good thing is that Satoshi is not that stupid to sell his stash because he knows what is the effect of  his action. He has already built bitcoin and we have put it to the next level.

I think the demand will goes down and it will reflect on the bitcoin value because the value of bitcoin will base on the demand by many users in the market.
But i think it will not happen because many people are now building their own mining site and the supplies of bitcoin will not dump and the demand will continue to increase because of continuous adoption by many countries.

Satoshi DIED a few years ago. And also ensured the private keys were destroyed making the ~1million supply of Bitcoin out of existence - thus in reality true max supply of bitcoin is well under 20million coins. You will never find another coin in history , no altcoin that will ever have this sort of fair start of mine combined with the global distribution and demand with this secure open-source consensus system.

There will be a decrease in price but not that huge for the reason bitcoin is in demand like every minute.. If that 5% will not be sold one time and that’s for sure,, no one will even able to buy that.. An staggering millions of dollars bitcoin price is not worth to bought at this price and it is even increasing at this moment.. Nakamoto is a genius man then we can expect him doing what is right..

If satoshi is still among us, he is probably already a millionaire, and centainly doesn't have to touch those coins. But if he does, I'm fine with that. He did a pretty good job here, and that reward is something he really deserve.

No one really knows if satoshi do have really that possesion of 1 million bitcoins and same as you said it would really be an idiotic move for him to see his creation to be affected on the possible actions that he would made.If he do need money then he can easily make cash-out but not on bulks for sure.If he do own 1m coins then its none of our business if he would sell it or not.
